With Neighbours being Carla's first major acting jobs, after a few smaller television roles, Carla has become an establish personality within the show which she has been involved in for several years.
She first joined the show in 1999 with the rest of the Scully family (which included Janet Andrewatha, Shane Conner, Kate Keltie and Holly Valance) and has continued in the show ever since. Despite rumours that Carla is to leave the show sometime soon, she has said that she's happy with her part in Neighbours and has no plans to depart.
Along with her Neighbours work Carla is involved with several charities and has attended several public events such as the annual TV Week Logies, which celebrates the best of Australia television and media personalities.
