Despite having a fairly short list of acting roles Alan Fletcher is one of Neighbours most established celebrity presences. As with many of Neighbours other stars, Alan is posses a range of talents and is the lead musician in the band "Waiting Room" and has appeared on stage several times during his career.

Alan has been a part of Neighbours for over a decade, first starting on the show in 1994 and quickly becoming a fan favourite and is now a natural part of the show thanks to his long commitment to it.

For the moment Alan doesn't seem to be planning to leave Neighbours (and there would no doubt be a public outcry if he did). He continues with Waiting Room, performing at gigs frequently in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
