Arriving to Ramsay Street with her family in 2003, Lil soon made friends with Susan and Lyn and formed bonds which grew stronger as time went on.

To begin with Lil didn't work however things changed as David's business plans began to crumble. She soon found herself looking for employment and found it hard to do this whilst treading carefully around a morose David and a rebellious Serena.

Her relationship with her mother Svetlanka had always proven tenuous, particularly due to hostility between Svetlanka and David. Things became worse when Sventlanka arrive in Ramsay Street. The sniping between her and David began instantly and Svetlanka began trying to convince Lil of David’s worthlessness. Things became tougher when Lil fell ill with a unsuspected liver failure. It looked like Lil would not survive the condition as no suitable donor could be found. Luka, a boy of Serbian decent who Serena was dating, was then brought forward by Svetlanka as a match. Since to be a match he would have to be very closely related to Lil, it was soon found out that Luka was Lil's son, who was concealed from her at birth and given to another family by Sventlanka. This caused relations between Lil and her mother to be severed by Lil.

In 2005 Lil took an uncharacteristic path and entered a relationship with Paul Robinson, following months of indecision. The relationship saw her move out of the Bishop household and inform David on several occasions that she didn't love him anymore. The relationship with Paul was intense but short lived as Paul's dodgy business deals with Affirmacon soon became public knowledge. Paul ridiculed by most of the street. Further revelations of his numerous relationships including that with Izzy saw Lil finish their relationship for good. With time Lil and David grew closer and found themselves living together once again.
