Connor arrive in Erinsborough in 2001. He often provides light relief for the street teaming up with the other lads from number 30. He has been involved in some big storylines though which have explored a more serious side of himself.

His first relationship was with Michelle Scully, the youngest of the Scully sisters. The pair were timid at first as their relationship was formed under the shadow of Joe whom had a fairly agreesive nature.

The relationship became more complex as Connor grew closer to Jack's girlfriend Lori Lee. Jack was treating Lori poorly and Connor was there as a friend. Their relationship grew more serious though and they began dating. Things took a turn for the worse when Lori fell pregnant. The decision about the baby split the two apart. Connor wanted to keep the baby but Lori was keen for an abortion. Lori ignored Connors wishes and returned home to have the baby.

Connor also fell for Nina Tucker who arrived in Erinsborough in 2003. He helped Nina overcome her shyness and discovered her singing talent. Whilst his relationship and interest in Nina caused more tension on an already strained relationship between himself and his Jack.

2006 saw Connor taking an interest in private investigating after helping Toadie out with a few Rogue clients. Having taken a short course in the field Connor soon found himself taking on jobs which saw him following various people around and gathering notes. He soon found himself being asked to spy on a few of the Ramsay Street residents, such as Karl's girlfriend at the time Jenny McKenna and Robert Robinson who Dylan Timmins was suspicious of after Robert managed to sabotage a unit of shelves Dylan had put up in the General Store.
