Elle Robinson / Pippa Black

Arriving in Erinsborough in late 2005, Elle immediately got along with the other twenty something’s of Ramsay Street. Her main reason for staying in the street was to reacquaint herself with her father Paul Robinson.

Whilst she found a whole host of friends quickly things didn't go quite to plan at home. Her relationship with Paul was good however things with Izzy, who was currently living with Paul in number 28 at the time of Elle's arrival, were less smooth.

Elle also set her romantic sights on Ned Parker who was another new arrival to Erinsoborough. Despite making her intentions clear to him, her attempts at starting a relationship were met with cool rebuttals.

Her persistance with Ned eventually paid off and the pair began a relationship despite misgivings from Paul and Izzy. As tensions between Elle and Paul grew Elle told Ned that she was going to return to Tasmania to her Gail and her brothers. She invited Ned to join and he accepted.

Things quickly unraveled between Ned and Elle as Izzy attempted to force Elle to stay in Ramsay Street. To do so she took the Izzy esque route of attempting to seduce Ned to remove Elle's confidence in her plan to flee Erinsborough. After several weeks Izzy had total control over Ned and managed to get him away from the street leaving Elle turning to Paul for comfort. Izzy's plan failed to remain a secret as she planned and Elle learnt of her deception causing a rift between the pair to be formed.

Elle return to her open hostility of Izzy which she had used when she first met her. He resolve to ignore Izzy was boosted by the surprise arrival of Elle's brother Robert Robinson. Elle however fails to recognise her brother fully and mistakes him for his twin Cameron Robinson. The Robinson brothers had always been fairly different personality wise with Robert being fairly trouble when he was younger. He was also constantly picked on by Cameron and Elle. Robert doesn't correct Elle's assumption that he is Cameron and her conclusion fits his plans for the Ramsay Street Robinson family. Robert begins a campaign against the Robinson's and their few friends as revenge for Paul's neglect of he and Gail Lewis when he was growing up. His attacks gradually target Elle and she is saved as he is found out as those effected by his previous attacks begin to put the pieces together. His attack on Elle saw him rigging a bomb to Paul's car which she borrowed to drive up to a wine tasting event in the Yarra Valley. A call from Paul and then a frantic interruption by Izzy sees Elle running from the car seconds before it is engulfed in flames.

Robert's attacks and the further twists as he manages to escape justice by switching places with his comatose brother cause a deal of strain on Elle. Things are made worse as Cameron is killed by Max who mistakes him for Robert and runs him over. Elle begins a campaign of revenge against Max, slowly undermining his mental state. She is alarmed at her own success when Max disappears from Ramsay Street after she had successfully convince half the street, and Max himself, that he was crazy. He anger with Max turns to guilt as she realise the suffering Max's absence causes the Hoylands. She tries frantically to undo the damage by using all resources in her power to track down Max and support the Hoyland's. Her charitable efforts are treated cautiously by Boyd Hoyland who deduces her involvement in Max's spiral into dementia. Boyd attempts to give Elle a taste of her own medicine and begins similar attacks against her. His vendetta is brought to an end when Elle confesses all to Paul who warns Boyd from threatening his daughter again. Elle's searches die down as the Hoyland's attempt to put Max behind them. She inadvertently discovers Max as she returns to Erinsborough from visiting her mother in Tasmania at the beginning of 2007. Her elation at seeing him again quickly dissolves as she notices he is with another family.
