Scott Timmins arrived in Erisborough alone to find himself face to face with his cousin Toadie Rebecci after being arrested for streaking at a football match. Toadie attempted to look after his cousin to help set him back on his feet but Scott proved too much of a handful for him. He enlisted the help of Susan who began to notice a strangeness in Scott's behaviour. She began to suspect he had attention deficit disorder and consulted Karl on the matter. It was suggested that Scott take various drugs to help quell the effects of his disorder on his everyday life, however Stingray was set against this idea. Susan found a suitable alternative by altering his diet to include fresh fruit and vegetables. This proved a difficult task, to wean Scott from his previous fish finger based diet, but she managed to with work.

Scott soon found himself friends within the street and began a relationship with Serena Bishop, much to the despair of Serena's father David Bishop. Towards the end of 2005 saw the arrival of the rest of Scott's siblings. The first to arrive was Dylan who turned up at Susans in an attempt to turn his life around as Scott had. Scott was less than happy with this and was fearful of his brother who used to bully him when they were younger. The rest of the Timmin's soon arrive and they found themselves settling into number 26 Ramsay Street with Lyn Scully who took pity upon them.

The Timmins began to settle into the street and though their brash and loud behaviour didn't win over some of the residents. The arrival of Joe Mangel in late 2005 saw the Timmin's forced out of Lyn's house as she began a relation with Sky's father. The Timmin's found themselves living in a local caravan park until they finally convinced Lyn to allow them to return.

Intervention by Susan saw Stingray commit to his studies despite various family stresses and a lack of belief in his own intellectual ability. With work and a helping of Stingray's out of the box thinking, Stingray was able to secure a place at University on a film studies course.

During this positive time Stingray also found himself becoming involved with Rachel Kinski. The age difference between the pair saw them forced to keep things under wraps and they incurred the wrath of many Ramsay Street residents whn their relationship became known.

Stingray found himself on bad terms with Dylan as the paternity of Kerry Mangel was questioned. The confusion forced Stingray and Sky to admit their one night stand and growing feelings for each other. The presence of Stingray in Sky and Kerry's life caused a rift to form between the Timmins brothers and Dylan lashed out against Stingray. Stingray's selfless offering of bone marrow for Kerry's leukaemia treatment went some way to resolve their difference and Dylan admitted that he'd rather have Stingray involved with Sky and Kerry then some stranger. Despite complications during the initial prep work for the transfusion, Stingray successfully donated bone marrow. As Ramsay Street held a joint celebration of Kerry's recovery and Janelle Timmin's birthday Stingray died from an aneurysm.
