Jean-Pierre Valasco appeared in Neighbours for several episodes in the early half of 2006 as an art teacher to Sky Mangel. To begin with he was very critical of Sky's work singling her out for abuse over her classmates who he also belittled frequently. Things quickly came to a head and Jean-Pierre issued an ultimatum to Sky, improve her work of be kicked out of his class. Sky eventually admitted defeat and handed over her final piece work which impressed Jean-Pierre enough to ask her to stay in his class.
