Episode 5440
Ringo turns eighteen and the men of Erinsborough initiate him into adulthood with his first beer at Charlie´s bar. Meanwhile the womenfolk are busy preparing a surprise party and Ringo is touched by the love and support of his friends and family. Aware that his recovery depends upon him being honest about his eating disorder, Ringo makes a speech apologising to everyone he has hurt with his lies and secretive, self-destructive behaviour. Everyone is impressed by his strength and maturity… most of all Bridget, who rewards his bravery with a kiss.
Confident that Ringo is on the road to recovery, Rosie and Frazer prepare to head off to Italy. Frazer has one last attempt at reconciliation with Prue and offers to pay for a ticket to come and visit them when Rosie has the baby. Gently nudged by Ringo, Prue accepts the gesture and they leave Erinsborough together, finally one big happy family.
Despite Declan´s warning, Zeke is determined to prove to Taylah that he´s just as mature as older her ex boyfriend. He stashes his illicit alcohol at the party but Taylah finds out and berates him for being so stupid. She explains that she likes him because he doesn´t put on any kind of act and she can be herself around him. She reveals that she´s ready to take their relationship to the next level and things start to heat up… until shocked Susan bursts in on the half-naked young lovebirds.
Meanwhile Taylah´s ex is causing trouble at the party. As Steve attempts to oust the gatecrashers, he accidentally knocks Rebecca over.
Libby uses her new friendship with Ty to distract herself from the awkwardness of Dan and Sam´s increasingly public displays of affection. Indeed the happy couple are getting on so well, Dan asks Sam to move in.
