Rachel impresses everyone with her mature and honest victim impact statement and the judge expresses her appreciation for Angus´ previous good character and obvious remorse. However, she is determined to set an example for other people in positions of trust in the community and the court delivers a harsh custodial sentence. As Angus is escorted away from the court, he breaks away from the guards to reassure Rachel that she did the right thing. Unbeknownst to anyone except eagle-eyed reporter Riley, Angus also slips her a parcel. Opening the package in private, Rachel discovers his ring and a note written on the back of a photograph reminding her that only love matters. Will Rachel ever recover from sending her first love to prison?

Ty expresses an interest in learning to dance and Libby happily offers her services. However, Steph quickly susses that he has ulterior motives and gently advises him not to complicate Libby´s life. Ty nobly decides his only option is to move out but this only peaks Libby´s curiosity. Spinning Libby around the room, he reveals that he can already dance; he just wanted the chance to get closer to her. How will Libby handle her hunky new admirer?

Rebecca watches secretly from the sidelines as Steve pushes Declan to his physical and emotional limits at footy training. Aware that Declan could go either way, she worries that Steve´s being too hard on her fragile son. Steve promises that he knows what he´s doing but things take a dangerous turn when frustrated Declan raises a fist to strike his overbearing coach. Smart Steve uses the moment to illustrate the choices Declan has in life, and the importance of making sure those choices are good. Declan heads back to his mother a changed man.
