Rebecca welcomes Paul back from Paris with a special dinner and asks Kirsten to cater. Struggling to hide her guilt over their affair, Kirsten agrees and is left in an impossible position when Rebecca asks her to join them for the evening. When Rebecca proposes a toast to love and the importance of family, Paul can’t stand it any longer and takes her aside for a quiet word.

However, as Paul faces his beautiful partner he realises how much he stands to lose. What began as an attempt to confess the truth of his infidelity suddenly turns into a marriage proposal. Oliver and Declan are thrilled for their blissfully happy mother but Elle and Kirsten are understandably shocked. Elle fears that her father is (once again) using a wedding as a quick solution to his relationship problems but Paul swears that he is a hundred percent committed to a fresh start with his new family. Unfortunately there’s a twist in the tale: as Rebecca gleefully plans her wedding, Paul receives an envelope full of incriminating pictures of him and Kirsten. Is someone out there attempting to sabotage their marriage before it’s even begun?

Hurt and humiliated by Ringo’s rejection, Bridget heads home and tells Nicola what a mess she has made of her relationship. Feeling guilty for offering bad advice, Nicola storms into the General Store and accuses Ringo of using Bridget. Unfortunately their conversation is overhead by a nosy classmate and suddenly the news that Bridget and Ringo had an illicit rendezvous in a hotel room is all over school. The gossip reaches Steve who is furious with Bridget for tarnishing her reputation and then even angrier with Nicola for encouraging his daughter to behave so recklessly. Miranda automatically defends her sister and Steve mutters darkly that Nicola exerts an unnecessary hold over his wife. Is Nicola’s visit going to cause problems for the whole Parker family?
