Toadie returns from East Timor and Steph worries that they still won’t be able to be friends. However, he comes home in high spirits and it seems their break up is far behind him. Carmella is thrilled to learn that Oliver has decided to drop his quest for sole custody of Chloe and they set about creating an amicable access agreement. However, Elle warns Oliver that Carmella still doesn’t trust her and that they’re having a few issues since Elle bought into the General Store. They both agree that it might be an idea to keep their relationship a secret until the papers are signed.

When Carmella’s cousin Sienna spots them kissing, Elle threatens to fire her if she doesn’t keep her mouth shut. But the Cammenitis don’t scare easily and Sienna spills the beans. The secrecy, plus the attack on her family, pushes Carmella over the edge. She storms in Sam’s office and screws up the access arrangement, declaring Elle will have nothing to do with her baby.

Traumatised Kirsten is touched when Ned reaches out to her, encouraging her to spend time with him and Mickey as a family. Unfortunately this only shows her just how much she stands to lose and she panics when Ned receives some unusual mail. She manages to intercept the letter, which is indeed from the blackmailer, telling Ned to ask her about her affair with Paul. Feeling she has no other choice, she confesses everything to him. Will Ned be able to forgive her or will his long-running feud with Paul Robinson drive another wedge between him and the mother of his child?
