Oliver caught between his love for Elle and his hurt at her lies decides to sack Kirsten from her position at Lassiter's, and later resigns himself. While Mickey and Ned anguish over Kirsten's alienation from the community, Elle's devastation turns to sheer anger at Paul for destroying the family she loves and her relationship with Oliver.

Meanwhile, Rebecca searches in her heart for a way to forgive Paul, that is until she comes face to face with Kirsten who lets slip that Paul and her affair was more than just a one night stand, and that she had in fact gone on the trip with Paul to Paris, the ultimate slap in the face for Rebecca. Forgiveness looks highly unlikely now!
