While Declan calls Paul a 'scumbag' and practically chases him away from the General Store, Rebecca harangues him in front of Lyn and Steph, telling him in no uncertain terms what a low-life he is for taking Kirsten to Paris with him and dressing it down as just a one-night stand to her. Elle is conflicted by her feelings of anger towards her father and concern for his welfare, and in the end invites him home to live with her.

Feeling overwhelmed by the startling details of Paul's affair, Rebecca makes plans to leave Erinsborough and give up on her dream of law school. Susan gathers the women of Ramsey Street and they rally around and convince Rebecca to stay.
