Stuart is keen for things to progress with Kat. He is a little unsure though as he doesn’t seem to know Kat that well and is alarmed when she casually mentions all her male friends and how fun they are. He takes a gamble and says he wants to spend a weekend with her. Kat fails to pick up on his meaning though and wants to invite her friends as well to make it a party. Stuart is forced to spell out his meaning which leaves Kat a little disappointed as he tells her he wants it to be just the two of them. Later Stuart shows his interest even more at Lou’s Place as they meet up for drinks. He tells Kat he wants an exclusive relationship with her and agrees to Kat’s terms to make their relationship exiting and interesting.

Toadie and Dee relax together and make the decision to begin telling friends and family about their plans to marry. Toadie rings up Angie first who is happy at the news. She phones Toadie soon after he phones to tell her the news and begins to pester Toadie about details. Toadie listens to her for a while but drops the phone into the Jacuzzi he is sharing with Dee as his mother doesn’t let up.

Nina worries about agreeing to Melody’s idea to boost her public profile by dating another celebrity. She talks to Connor about this who advises Nina to be truthful with Jack rather than going behind his back. Nina takes this on board but ends up going against this advice and takes a day of school so she can be photographed with celebrity Robbie D as they arrive together at Lassiter’s. Things seem to be going well as they arrive and are mobbed by photographers and fans that are after pictures and signatures. Nina gets a shock as they pose outside Lassiter’s when Robbie D pulls her close and kisses her. She doesn’t have time to react before the kiss is broken though and she is follows Robbie D into the Lassiter foyer.

Libby finds herself agreeing to head back to Cameron’s for coffee despite hesitating when he first gave her the option. This came about after he tasted the coffee at Lou’s and expressed disgust at it and mentioned that he knew a place with great coffee and a good view. Libby had explained about Drew dieing earlier and Cameron is very understand at her nerves about the whole thing. Karl is unimpressed when Libby calls he and Susan to tell them they would have to look after Ben as she is heading back to Cameron’s. He tries to warn Libby against such a big step but Susan cuts him off, snatching the phone from him and telling Libby to have a good time and that she will deal with Karl. Karl finds himself unable to keep quiet on the matter though and his explains his worries pointedly to Cameron the next day. Cameron asks whether Karl has a problem as he arrives early in the morning to talk about sifting through Darcy’s patient records as Karl is acting surely towards Cameron. Karl tells Cameron his fears about Libby and confronts Cameron about his plans for Libby and whether his desire to travel may end up hurting her in the long wrong. Cameron calmly explains his feelings for Libby ignoring Karl’s snipes at himself as a person. Cameron mentions his confrontation with Karl later whilst talking to Libby in the Coffee Shop. He tries to downplay it but Libby is keen to remonstrate with her father and heads home. She tells Karl to mind his own business and reminds him that this was one of the conditions for her moving back into number 28.

Both Lori and Connor worry about the future now that Lori’s pregnancy is known to both. Connor finds himself arguing with Stuart more than usual and Lori attempts to get support from Karl but keeps being interrupted by someone else every time she starts a conversation with him. In the end the pair find themselves together in the kitchen of number 30. Both admit that they are concerned what the future holds for them with a baby on the way.
