Lyn is putting the finishing touches to Conner's "The Shamrock" wrestling suit. She's concerned things are a bit baggy around certain areas as the costume as she used Toadie's measurements when making it. She insists that she'll fix it and rushes off to get some equipment. Toadie comes in a laughs at Conner. Conner say's Toadie won't be laughing after wins his match tomorrow.

Janae has is referred to the school councilor after Susan caught he attacking Serena in the school corridor yesterday. Being the councilor Karl has to try to get to the heart of Janae’s reasons which caused her to lash out. Janae proves hard to talk to spurning most of Karl’s attempts to break down the problem. Eventually Karl states the reasons that he believes Janae is acting up. As he explains that Janae may feel left out at home and getting into trouble is the only way to attract attention to herself Janae gets to her feet in a rage and storms out shouting that Karl doesn't know anything about her.

Bree is practicing for the state finals of the spelling bee which will take place the following day. Summer is helping her suggesting ways to maintain her calmness so she doesn't throw up again. Janelle rushes in looking for Scott as she's heard the news that he and Serena have broken up. Upon spotting Summer, who is helping Bree calm her nerves by breathing into a brown bag, she reminds her that she is banned from the house and gets her to leave. Janelle then settles down to help Bree but her mind is on other things, both Scott and Janae. Bree pretends that Scott is out shooting a video. Janelle leaves to go look for him leaving Bree to enjoy a few moments of peace.

The day of Conners match has arrived. He is to fight Kev Karnage in the community hall. Lyn is MC’ing and speaks in a low fierce growl after encouragement from Susan and Janelle. As the fight begins Conner looks outmatched and is thrown around the ring. Matters get worse when Kev Karnage tags a second wrestler into the ring to team up on him. Things look to be over but then a third wreslter drags Conner out of the ring and then dives in to fight the others. The Lawman stands tall and sees of both the oppanants to win the match for himself and Conner.

Scott arrives home to be comforted by Janelle. He doesn't feel he needs it and isn't happy that Janelle keeps mentioning that he is her favourite child. He suggests that she spends more time on his brothers and sisters rather than fussing over him. Janae overhears this conversation and is angered when Janelle continues to praise Scott and tell him how useless the others are.

Karl is back in the school classroom. He has forgotten his appointment planner and retrieves it and then heads back out to leave. As he turns in the corridor he hears a few sobs. He finds Janae on the floor next to the lockers. She gets up as he approaches. He asks her if she's okay and she explains that she's really messed up and would like it if he could help her.
