Lou then explains to Harold that it's the quality of the work done not the quantity and then bets Harold a dollar that he can achieve more sales than Harold during the day. Lou then spends his time trying to get customers to purchase various things whilst they're in the general store, all which he claims are home made and from small quaint suppliers. His antics attract the attention of a man who's sitting at a table drinking coffee. He calls Lou offer and tells him he has a business proposition for Lou.
