Bobby and Susan have spent the night together. They're both still very much in mood for romance but Susan tries desperately to reel herself back and think with her head. She hints that it may be a good idea that she left as she's caught by Bobby sneaking out. Bobby uses some of his charm though and Susan cannot deny she had a great time with him. The pair are struggling to keep away from each other when the voices of Max and Izzy are heard outside. A panicked Susan dives behind the bar counter. Bobby makes a suitable distraction claiming he's seen a mouse on the floor as Susan rushes out. Once outside Susan nearly runs into Karl who is on the way to the surgery. She tries to evade him by spinning around and heading back the way she came but Karl has seen her. He greats her and notices that she seems to have spent the night at Scarlet’s with Bobby. He walks off and Susan follows him into the surgery. She asks Karl to refrain from telling Izzy about Susan and Bobby. Karl things about it, looking uhappy that Susan has been seeing Bobby, and says he won’t lie to Izzy if she asks.

Bobby's luck seems to have run out when it comes to him juggling women. Both Susan and Lyn get together at Susans to tell each other pieces of exiting news. Lyn is really keen and tells Susan that she may even invite Bobby to spend the night with her afterwards. Susan is sat with a stunned look on her face. Lyn mistakes it for the fact that Susan sees the same complication in the relationship as she does, the fact that Steph and Max are married and should could end up hurting them both as well as Izzy and Karl if she pursued any relationship with Bobby. Susan can't get out that she's so shocked because Bobby is having a relationship with both of them at the same time. As soon as she gets a change she heads to Scarlet’s to confront Bobby. Bobby however smiles at Susan and claims that there is no relationship between he and Lyn. He admits to having had lunch with her and agreeing to go to dinner but anything beyond that hasn't happened. Susan resolve falters. Bobby seems very sure of what he's saying. Her anger subsides.
