Sindi tries to convince Stu to talk to Toadie. Bree tells Steph and Max how great parents they are. Toadie considers Sindi's offer to build bridges

Izzy and Karl argue over Bobby. Izzy is still delighted to have her father staying in Erinsborough. Karl is beginning to feel like a third wheel though and is upset with Izzy as she always drops everything whenever her father needs her. Izzy attempts to make it up to Karl by setting aside the evening for them to have a romantic meal together. Things change at the last minute as Bobby has to dash off, leaving Scarlets and a group of Japanese Tourists in the lurch. Izzy agrees to step in, saying that she and Karl can have their meal in Scarlets instead. A karaoke machine is also brought in to occupy the tourists. Whilst Karl gets up and sings he still looks annoyed at having to spend the night in Scarlets. The next day Izzy catches up with Karl in the surgery. She tells him she noticed he rushed out of their flat in the morning without saying goodbye. Karl is cold with Izzy and the pair begin to argue again. Izzy snaps that Karl's insecurities and clouding his judgment when it comes to Bobby. Karl sates that he doesn't like Bobby and the way he breezed into Izzy's life and admits that he is worried that Izzy may have started a relationship. Izzy pleads with him to allow her to have some happiness in her life. Karl presses the point about Bobby and his womanising. Izzy leaps to defend him, so Karl questions whether she would be keen to talk about Bobby in such a way if he knew the full extent of his relationships. At Izzy's questioning look Karl reveals Bobby is involved with Susan.



The adoption process is moving along rapidly for Max and Steph. They have made a shortlist of potential parents after their application was picked up by a potential adopter. After telling the news to an exited Summer and Bree they go to the adoption agency to meet Kayla. Once there they get to ask the heavily pregnant mother to be some questions and answer some from Kayla too. They seem to impress the woman asking probing questions some which reveal the extent of the hardship of Kayla's life. Some time later after they return home they get a call from the adoption agency. It's good news, Kayla has chosen the Hoyland's as the adoptive parents. If they accept they will get her child after it is born.

Sindi frets over Toadie and Stuart’s friendship. They pair have fallen out over the surprise announcement that she and Stu are to marry. In an attempt to build bridges she heads over the number 30 to invite Conner and Toadie to dinner. Toadie agrees reluctantly and turns up at Susans in the evening. Sindi's plan appears to work as Toadie tells them they have his full support for their marriage. Stuart asks Toadie to join Conner, who he asked to be his best man yesterday. Toadie agrees to be Stuart's co best man.
