Harold is struggling to remain calm with Lou who is up to his old scamming ways. He corners Lou and explains his feelings. Harold is upset about Lou's recent competition to outsell him in the General Store. Lou is also attempting to get their customers in the store to sign up for a credit card. His efforts seem fuelled by money received through commission. Paul enters to the General Store and Harold joins him at a table. Paul apologies for what Harolds family must be going through. Harold isn't forgiving though and underlines the fact that Paul and Liljana's affair has torn the Bishops apart. Harold tells Paul that any reconciliation between them is a long way off, especially as David's ramblings about Paul's dodgy dealings, deliberately setting David up to get to Lil, seem look to have a grain of truth in them.

Lyn is having a great time with Bobby and seems to have fallen in love. Bobby however is less keen on Lyn though she doesn't seem aware of this. He continues to lead her on though. This shaky relationship comes crashing down when Lyn tells Bobby she would like to pursue their relationship further. Bobby is force to reluctantly tell the truth about his feelings for Lyn. Lyn tries to put a brave face on as he rejects her but it becomes too much for her. She emotionally tells Bobby that he's the first man she's felt a true connection to since Joe left. She tells Bobby a few home truths, calling him a coward and liar and then leaves him to think about what he's done.

Janelle continues to get into debt on her credit card. After splashing out on clothes and a widescreen TV the other day she sets her sights on a new car for the family. She feels they'll need it to get to Canberra for Bree's spelling Bee, to which she manages to get herself invited again.

After his discussion with Harold Paul goes to Susan’s to talk to Lil. Susan informs him that Lil's away at the moment. This shocks Paul as he didn't tell him. Whilst on Susan's doorstep he begins to push Susan for more information. Susan is cool with him, though he begins to suspect Lil has gone away with David.

Max discovers that Bobby is using Summer to screen his calls. As Max questions her about the phone Summer admits that Bobby had given it to her with the condition that she dealt with the incoming calls from all the girlfriends he'd acquired. Max also checks the piece of paper on which Bobby had written the responses Summer was to give to the various callers. Max head off to track down Bobby for an explanation.

After Karl informed Izzy of Bobby's relationship with Susan, Izzy rushes to Susan's to look for an answer. Susan is wary as she opens the door and finds Izzy on the step. Izzy accuses Susan of lying about a relationship with Bobby to get at Izzy. Susan begins to disagree with this but changes her tune to agree with Izzy. She's appears to be doing this to protect Izzy from the truth and prevent a full blown argument. Izzy accepts this and leaves. She seems to have understood that a relationship between Susan and Bobby exists. Izzy's next stop is at Scarlets to see Bobby. She breaks down as Bobby admits that he did go out with Susan. He puts a spin on the truth though, saying it was initiated by Susan and she coerced him into the relationship. This seems to calm Izzy, she insists that she wants her father to stay in Erinsborough. Izzy explains her actions later on as she finds Susan with Karl as she was demanding answers as to why he told Izzy in the surgery. Izzy apologies for her actions and tells them her the driving force for her behavior was the thought of loosing her father so soon after he had come back into her life. This feeling boils up again as Max arrives in Scarlets that evening looking for Bobby.
