The Timmin’s spend some time hunting around for a new car. Each of them wants something different from the new vehicle so they can't decide which one to go for. Janelle surprises them all the next morning by waking them, and the rest of the street, up with the sound of a blaring horn. They've got a new MPV. Lou is impressed and approaches the Janelle and the car. Janelle tells him that it's thanks to his credit card that they managed to get the car. Lou looks nervous over this. He asks Janelle if she read the small print and explains that it contains details that show the very low interest rate runs out after a short period of time. Janelle is undeterred saying she'll find the money before the rates go up.
David is convinced he can nail Paul Robinson. Harold and Serena also agree that if the report created by Paul's expert consult about the water tables in Ramsay Street proves false then it leads to question both Paul’s and Affirmacons dealings with the council. Harold has found an independent consultant who agrees to generate a second report. Dylan is with Sky whilst she discusses these events with David and Harold in the general store. He manages to slip away to warn Paul about the possibilities his dealings will be exposed. David and Serena head off with the consult to get the results first hand. The result show that there is no risk to Ramsay Street from rising water, Paul’s repot was incorrect.
Paul is keen for him and Lil to take a break from Erinsborough. This is mostly due to the fact that he's about to be exposed, but he doesn't tell Liljana this. Lil is hesitant and Paul reveals that David tried to run him over the other day. This shocks Lil and seems to soften her resolve. She agrees to go away to Sydney with Paul for a few weeks. Later at Susan's Paul tries to Hurry Lil. Lil goes for a shower though and also wants to wait to say goodbye to Susan. Paul waits anxiously. There's a knock at the door and he opens it to find Tony Corbett of Affirmacon and two body guards. They suggest he goes with them. Paul resists at first but they threaten Lil. Paul agrees to go if they leave her out of the whole affair. Paul is driven out to the surrounding bush land. There he is escorted off the road. It appears the body guards plan to kill him. Paul manages to make a run for it but he fails to shake them. Hiding in the shrubbery seems to work but Paul’s mobile phone rings, a call from a worried Lil who has now noticed Paul's absence, alerting the body guards and Tony Corbett to his whereabouts. Paul runs again but finds himself tumbling over the edge of an unseen cliff edge. Tony and the guards catch up and peer over the cliff edge. Paul is seen below, lying motionless with his limbs bent out of shape. The group on the ledge seem happy with this and leave. David arrives at Susans with Liljana. He's there to inform her about Paul's deceit. Lil's mind is still on Paul and she is skeptical of David. The results of the independent water table report prove hard to rubbish. Lil begins to join Paul's disappearance with the report being made public. She now thinks Paul may have run to save himself and left her to deal with the fallout.
