Max continues to worry for Izzy. Steph shares his concern but feels Izzy can take care of herself. Max receives a surprise phone call from Paul who is out in the bush looking for Izzy and hiding from the police who feel he is responsible for her disappearance. He asks Max if he has heard any news but Max is reluctant to trust him.

Karl continues to offer counseling for Janae. He feels watching a in depth, unedited film of a cosmetic surgery operation may change her mind on having an operation herself. He fails to get the reaction he'd hoped for and later admits to Susan that he is struggling to comprehend why Janae is still keen to go ahead despite her age and the drawbacks of such surgery. Janae is seen at home writing about Karl in her diary. She feels he treats her with respect and like a woman during their sessions.

Sindi's misdeeds catch up with her in a spectacular way as Stuart sees her apprehending Toadie, who has followed them to their honeymoon retreat to warn Stuart of the threat she poses. She stands at the top of a flight of stairs and shoves Toadie down them. Stuart watches in disbelief at the bottom and helps the stunned Toadie back to his feet. Stuart questions Sindi about what happened but she dodges the question and tells him that Toadie slipped and fell by himself. Further coaxing reveals that it was a deliberate attack, which Sindi puts down to protecting their marriage. As further incidents are explained Toadie and Stu agree that they need help and call in a special counseling advice team. The team arrive and take Sindi and Stuart away.
