Serena manages to get permission from David and Lil to go on a photo shoot with Conner. They're planning to take pictures for a brochure for the bikini shop but are left in the lurch when the planned model cancels and they cannot find another. To Conner's despair, after assuring David there was nothing going on with Serena and fighting his feelings for her, Serena steps in and models for the shoot. Things get worse when they find they need to spend the night together before heading back to Ramsay Street in the morning. The hotel in which they stay only have a single room with a double bed. Serena seems to enjoy the predicament but Conner is very nervous.

After finding Izzy, Paul is feeling pretty pleased with himself. Susan corners him and remarks on the numerous complaints from parents about his recent lessons. At the Erinsborough high parent teacher night later that evening Paul has recovered. Serena, David and Lil arrive and Paul explains that Serena's attitude in class has dropped of late. Serena snaps back a few retorts. Whilst taking to the Bishops, Paul pressures Lil by inconspicuously rubbing his leg against hers. Lil eventually breaks and kicks out against Paul which sends his fake limb spinning across the classroom floor. The gathered teachers and students look on in shock and Serena burst into a fit of laughter. After a few more words David makes a hasty retreat, taking Lil and Serena with him. Paul is left embarrassed with the rest of the room watching him as he plans how to retrieve his limb.

Bree befriends the new student Rachel Kinki. She tells her it's nice to have another outcast to talk to. The pair seem to have plenty in common but the presence of Rachel's dad Alex Kinski and his strict parenting ideas soon becomes apparent.
