Izzy and Elle continue to battle. Izzy notices that Elle is getting help from Sky when designing her idea for the upcoming Lassiter celebrations. Izzy points out that Paul meant for Elle to do the work herself and brings it up with Paul. Paul agrees with Izzy despite Elle trying to convince him that she's using management skills to divide the project workload. Despite plenty of planning from Dylan, Elle eventually wins the competition between the two to design the celebrations. Dylan isn't happy with Paul's arguement that his idea is too extravagant and feels that Paul choose Elle's design because she's his daughter. Elle's scheming towards Izzy also appear to backfire as, whilst she and Paul are discussing the competition, Izzy staggers downstairs and collapses in front of them.
Toadie is convinced that Ned is hiding something from his friends. He tries to pry it out of Ned but he is met coldly. Toadie resorts to following Ned as he heads off mysteriously at night time. Toadie gets Stuart to join him but an argument between the pair about the stupidity of what they're doing sees them loosing Ned in a shopping mall.
Carmella is organising the shoot at the bikini shop that Conner had agreed to let her do as part payment for the loan of the money to pay for Maddy's operation. Serena is not happy with the arrangement and say's as much to David and Lil. David feels she should trust Carmella but Lil agrees that Carmella is up to something, especially regarding Conner. This fact is driven home as Carmella visits Izzy to return a hand bag. Izzy asks what's making Carmella so happy and smiles at the reply that Serena Bishop won’t stand in the way between Carmella and Conner for much longer. At the shoot the next day Serena and Carmella continue to clash. Eventually Serena makes a stand as she sees what Toadie has to wear for his part in the shoot. Carmella appears to back down slightly shrugging off Serena's fierce words with the idea that Toadie will get a few shots in better clothing.
