Stingray is still desperately searching for Roo in an attempt to clear Dylan’s name. He gets information from a friend in Colac that Roo is squatting in a house in the area. He rushes off to try and corner Roo. Sky joins him. She's concerned that they're doing the wrong thing, especially since Stingray is due in court soon but Stingray is determined to go.

El and Ned continue with their work on the play. They're surprised when Gino arrives with a completely rewritten script. Ned struggles with these new lines and is upstaged by Gino's star of the show. El is sympathetic to Ned and admits she would have thumped Gino who spent most of their reading session criticizing Ned and suggesting most of his worries are down to him being from the country.

Conner and Dylan are still wandering in the bush. They begin to plan how they'll live their lives as outlaws, obtaining false passports and traveling from town to town. Dylan begins to struggle but Conner refuses to leave him behind. Conner explains that Dylan stood by him so he's returning the favour. They eventually find a road but plans to never return to Erinsborough are pushed aside when they find a newspaper when rifling through a rubbish bag on the side of the road. The newspaper recounts how Sky is alive and Stingray is taking the fall for Dylan. Spurred on by the news, and a desperation to stop Stingray from making a big mistake Dylan tells Conner that they're returning to Erinsborough.

Janelle and Kim continue to argue. Janelle also snaps at everyone else around her and its left to Bree to reveal a few home truths to Janelle before she relaxes towards everyone.
