Boyd and Janae are spending time together at the local skate park. Boyd is skating and Janae is sitting nearby watching him. After a while Boyd comes over with his skateboard in hand and encourages her to have a go. Janae refuses saying there's no way he can get her on the board. A short time later and Janae is on the board and is skating with the help of Boyd. After a fall Janae starts to feel self conscious but Boyd tells her to take no notice of the other skaters who had begun to laugh as she fell. He tells her that he doesn't care who's watching as he only has eyes for Janae and isn't paying attention to anyone else. The pair then head to Scarlets so they can fetch a first aide kit to bandage Janae's hand which she has scraped whilst skating. Janae attempts to flirt with Boyd but he seems a bit reluctant to continue. He tells her that he doesn't want to be like the other guys she has dated recently. Janae assures him he's nothing like Mike and the others. Boyd then whisks her away for a surprise which turns out to be a picnic and a night together camping in the Bush. It doesn't quite go to plan, with a influx of mosquitoes and a mass of cow pat's but Janae is content and tells Boyd it's the most anyone has every done for her.

They agree to continue with a relationship without the marriage.
