Dylan and Stingray arrive in juvenile detention. Both seem unsettle as they're taken through the checking in process and, despite Dylan’s clear warnings, Stingray is acting up. He begins arguing with the head warden and then some of the other prisoners who are being checked in with them. As the others head to their cells Stingray is held back. The warden tries to talk some sense into him, however Stingray doesn't listen. Due to his actions the warden directs him to solitary confinement to think things over. Eventually Stingray is allowed back into his cell which he is sharing with Dylan. Dylan tries again to explain that Stingray will only find trouble if he continues to act up and rub the other inmates and wardens up the wrong way. Stringray finally agrees and tries to get some sleep. With his back to Dylan he begins to cry quietly.

Max and Steph are working in Scarlets. Max wants Steph to go back on her earlier promise not to tell Max the sex of their baby no matter how hard he pleads. After continuous pestering Steph agrees but Max is unsure he really wants to know. Eventually he Steph agrees when he says it's going to be a boy.

Joe and Lyn have made up and are happy with their new arrangement of life together without marriage. Joe rings up Toby to let him know the good news. Whilst on the phone it seems as though there is a problem but he tells Lyn that nothings wrong after the call has finished. Later Lyn asks him that something is definitely wrong. Joe tells her that he made a promise to Toby that he'd help out on a farm which Toby has invested a lot of money in. The farm needs paddocks and Joe had agreed to help Toby put them up. Joe tells Lyn that he's staying put in Ramsay Street though as he made the promise before he fell in love with her. After consideration Lyn encourages Joe to keep his promise to his son and to head off to help on the farm, explaining that if he didn't it would sour relations between Toby and Joe and Joe would see Lyn as the cause of this problem.

Kim and Janelle are distraught as Stingray and Dylan arrive in jail. Janelle begins to lash out and complains to Toadie that it was his poor defense which led to them being put in jail. Toadie tries to argue but Janelle is adamant. Janelle also lashes out at Kim. He manages to get her to sit down explaining that they both love each other so they might as well sort out their differences. The pair share a beer as they think about this.
