Susan finds herself taking further action to stem the legal threat posed from Katya. Toadie urges her to seek a more peaceful resolution than a court battle and Susan agrees to ask Rachel and Zeke whether they wish to live with Katya rather than her. Rachel quickly tells Susan that she wants to stay with her in number 28 however Zeke expresses his wish to stay with Katya through a card which reads "K needs us". Rachel is furious with her brother but she's forced to tell Susan again that if Zeke were to move out she would follow him to keep the family together. Rachel later tries to talk to Zeke about his decision but finds him uncooperative. Susan calls on Toadie and tells him of the disappointing result. Toadie tells her that the response from Rachel and Zeke makes there case more challenging and again suggests that some sort of compromise is sought. Susan presses Toadie to hire a private investigator to find information on Katya and her actions after she left the Kinskie household when she was younger. Toadie is very reluctant to do this but eventually agrees and approaches Connor later and asks him to perform the check. Rachel finds herself at the hospital looking for Katya. She asks Karl and he points her to the main hospital desk. Katya is surprised to see her sister but is left silent as Rachel tells her to leave Susan, herself and Zeke alone stating it would have been better if Katya had never returned, given her meddling and apparent desire to rip their new family apart.

Janelle and Angie are both training for their upcoming fight. None of their children can believe it but Toadie, Rachel and Bree find themselves getting into the spirit as they begin arguing over who will win the bout. Janelle and Angie continue to snap at each other whenever they can, Janelle shows off the fact that she makes the front page of the local paper who are reporting on her new novel. Angie shrugs this off and uses her copy of the paper to clean up dog dirt left on the number 30 verge by Bob.

Stingray finds himself avoiding Rachel after she kissed him yesterday. He reminds her that she's only 14 and suggests she try to resume her friendship with Bree and others of her own age. Rachel tells him she doesn't want to be a child anymore. Stingray comes a conclusion later after a chat with Bree and talks to Rachel. He suggests they stop seeing each other, explaining that they're lives were different (with Stingray starting University and Rachel still at Erinsborough High).
