It's the day of the big fight between Janelle and Angie which is the result of a long running feud between the Timmins and Rebecci families. Janelle gets cold feet as she sees the shear strength on Angie, who accidentally knocks Connor to the ground who is acting as her sparing partner. Janae's decision to forfeit the fight is welcomed by Kim, but Janae pressures her mother into continuing with the fight. The fight itself takes place in the local community centre (using the ring that was used for the wrestling bouts of 2005). Janelle seems to be the underdog for the bout but manages to outwit Angie by running from her competitor forcing her to chase Janelle around the ring. Angie begins to tire but manages to fool Janelle by initiating an argument. Janelle stops to fire off a retort to Angies insults and Angie fells Janelle with a savage hook. Kim encourages his wife to get up but Janae throws in the towel for the Timmin's team. Angie laughs at Janelle when she is finally back on her feet. Supported by both Kim and Janae, Janelle groggily explains that Angie that she has won in the end as Kim choose her instead of Angie. Angie laughs this off though saying that Kim hit on her, rather than she hitting on Kim as he had told Janelle. Kim is speechless at this and Janelle warns him that there will be massive consequences if she finds out Angie's version of events is true.

Zeke finally finds his voice as the emergency operator threatens to hang up the phone to end the presumed prank phone call. The operator talks Zeke through the steps to help his sister out but he struggles as she begins to outline medical recovery procedures. The operator suggest he get a grown up and he runs outside calling for help. Katya is outside number 30 and runs with Connor at his cries. Rachel is transported to hospital and is still unconscious when she arrives. Katya advises Zeke to call Susan to tell her what has happened. Susan is still in a meeting with Toadie who reveals the contents of the private investigation's report into Katya's past. Susan is stunned at what has been uncovered, but she stops outside the hospital room where Rachel is recovering and watches as Katya interacts normally with her brother and sister. Susan enters and is welcomed by Rachel and Zeke, who is now talking as before his father's death. Katya begins to feel left out and leaves the room temporarily. Susan follows her and confesses as to carrying out a background check on Katya and knowing the full results. Susan praises Katya for having turned her life around so fully, but warns her that the information will become public if the court battle between the pair transpires as Susan feels it really does add question to Katya's suitability of a guardian of Rachel and Zeke. Katya asks Susan to allow her to reveal the unknown skeleton of her past to her brother and sister before it becomes public knowledge.

After his recent conversation with Susan about moving forward in his life and his phone call to Jenny, Karl meets with Jenny in a ever quiet General Store. He lets her know that he has sorted his feelings for Susan which had come between himself and Jenny and caused their previous split. Jenny is apprehensive of getting involved with Karl as she still feels he has strong feelings for Jenny. Karl continues to emphasise his strong commitment to a relationship between them and Jenny warns him that she may find herself falling for him. As Jenny tells Karl that she's not going to think about getting back together with him, a crestfallen Karl is surprised to find she's already make up her mind as she kisses him.
