The Timmins / Rebecci feud continues to rage on fuelled by the main antagonists Janelle and Angie. Janelle is desperate to get to the bottom of the recently exposed secret of a tryst between Kim and Angie as both continue to say it was initiated by the other. Angie locates Toadie and attempts to correct his vision of what happened all those years ago, shifting the blame to Kim. The next morning Janelle continues to wind Angie up and Angie rush back into number 30 to find Toadie and settle the matter for once. Expecting her son to tell everyone the version of events that happened as she had tried to make him believe the previous night. Toadie corrects Angie on this though and she rushes off as her lies are exposed. Toadie continues to talk to Janelle, Kim and Stingray though revealing the full truth of the event. He explains that Angie simply pinched Kim on the bum, as she tended to do to everyone and it was Kim who acted out. Toadie tells them that he believes this was because Kim saw a young Toadie watching and he flew off the handle to prevent any rumours circulating which may perpetuate the fued between the Timmins and Rebecci's that existed even then. Things settle down a bit but both Janelle and Angie continue to rave at their family members. Angie tells Toadie that all she has ever done is defend herself against attacks from Janelle but is reluctant when Toadie suggests she take the moral high ground and not rise to the bait if this is the case. Janelle says similar things to Kim but hints at the root of the problem between her and Angie as Kim keeps pressing her to explain it. Janelle tells Kim that she dislikes Angie as she took away her big brother from her.
Susan is still pondering over whether to use the evidence gathered by the private investigator about Katya. Toadie advises her to make use of it otherwise her case in the battle for custody of Rachel and Zeke will be severely jeopardised. Susan decides against using it and realises that no-one else needs to know of Katya's past and rushes off to stop her from revealing her secret to Rachel and Zeke. They manage to track them down in the Scarlet Bar and Susan takes Katya aside. Susan explains that she will not use the evidence against Katya in court and tells Katya that she will relinquish custody of Rachel and Zeke if Katya really feels she can look after her brother and sister. Katya tells Susan that she can and Susan sets down a few ground rules. One of these rules is that she informs the children of her decision and so does so the next day close to lunch time. The children are upset about leaving Susan, who they still see as there mother, but are keen to keep there relationship with there sister. Susan, Rachel and Zeke spend the rest of the day together. Whilst playing board games Rachel and Zeke hug Susan and tell them that it's o.k to be said. Telling her again that they see her as a mother figure, Susan responds that she sees them as her children. Later Katya sees Toadie in the General Store, she attempts to thank him for persuading Susan to drop the case but Toadie tells her that he had nothing to do with it. He reminds Katya that it's now time for her to make good on her promise and take care of Rachel and Zeke.
Karl continues his relationship with Jenny. They soon settle back into dating and spend plenty of time together eating at both the General Store and then stopping for drinks at the Scarlet Bar later. Things are overshadowed a bit when Karl enters the General Store alone and sees Susan. He asks he how things are going and she asks him if he has a minute to talk, but Karl explains that he is about to meet Jenny. Karl is keen to join Jenny at a high class function later on in the evening in which they have drinks at the Scarlet Bar. Jenny tells him it'll be boring though and the pair settle on playing a game of darts and choosing whether or not to go to the function depending on who wins the game.
Despite Izzy suggesting that they loosen up on Harold and the General Store Paul resumes his personal vendetta. Harold is alone in the General Store and Paul attempts to wind his adversary up even further laughing at the fact that Harold has no customers and offering to take stock off Harold’s hands. After being persuaded to leave by a frustrated Harold and angry Karl, Paul waits for Harold in the kitchen of the General Store. He reminds Harold of the ever increasing debt owed to Paul, taking delight in the affect it has on Harold. Harold’s anger threatens to get the better of him as Paul continues to push and he begins to expose Izzy's relationship with Ned. Harold stops himself in time though, but Paul is left pondering over what exactly Izzy may have done.
