After a hospital visit to see Steph and Charlie, Janelle suggests to Kim that they try for another baby. Kim is against having another child but Janelle continues to express a desire, much to Bree's disgust as her mother begins to attempt to convince Kim to agree to the idea. As it becomes clear that Janelle isn't going to take no for an answer Kim approaches Karl for advise about getting a vasectomy the prevent him from having any more children. Karl is keen for Kim to discuss Janelle but Kim doesn't think this is a good idea. He agrees to go ahead with the operation, but lets Janelle know when he arrives back at home and she begins hinting again at her wish to have another child.

Dylan, Paul and Izzy spend some time inside the General Store drinking champagne to celebrating that they now own the business. Sky enters and rises to several smug comments towards her as he tells her that Dylan is now join manager of the General Store as well as Lucinda's. Sky attempts to get Dylan to back her stance against Paul but Dylan sides with Paul and Izzy, a fact which infuriates Sky further and she leaves the General Store quickly. Dylan attempts to patch things up with Sky but it becomes clear that she isn't happy. Later whilst sitting at the dining table of number 32 Ramsay Street with Lou she shows that she is beginning to question her relationship with Dylan. She says as much to Dylan as he arrives, explaining that she is still at school whilst he's attempting to become a entrepreneur. Dylan brushes away her doubts though and tells her that he's totally committed to their relationship.

Paul crushes Ned's world as he laughs at him and explains how Izzy has deceived Ned over the past few months in part thanks to Ned and Stuart showing him lacking after running after (and catching) a man who snatched Izzy's bag whilst she was outside the General Store with Paul. Paul attempted to stop the man but it was left to Stuart and Ned to chase after the thief. Izzy picked up on Paul's unhappiness about the event, and Paul admits that it hurt him to be pushed aside by the young men and the fact that Izzy slept with Ned behind his back. Ned is adamant that it's not true but Paul continues to step through Izzy's lies and Ned runs out of arguments. Ned then heads to number 22 to confront Izzy who is forced to admit her lies. Whilst she retains some of Paul's mocking attitude she is more careful about the words she chooses. Paul enters soon after and laughs at Ned some more, making further jokes at Ned's expense. Ned turns and leaves and Izzy tells Paul that he should be more considerate as there's still a chance that Ned may tell all to Elle which would rip their family apart. Paul laughs this off suggesting that Ned isn't clever enough to pull a stunt like that, however Ned proves him wrong. Refusing to return back to Oakey to help his mother on the family farm whilst his father is laid up with a bad back, Ned explains to Stuart that he's fed up with doing the predictable thing. Instead he returns to number 22 and plays with Paul's fears suggesting that Izzy chose to be with him on many occasions rather than the once that she told Paul. He goes on to tell Paul that Izzy choose him as he could offer satisfaction to Izzy, something that Paul obviously couldn't.
