Connor's first job as a private investigator involves on spying on Jenny, Karl's current girlfriend. Toadie warns his friend against taking on the task but Connor feels he has to and justifies himself by telling Toadie that he'll find nothing if everything is o.k. Connor trails Karl and Jenny to the naturist pool party they had been planning to attend. Karl is a little nervous about stripping off in such a situation but soon gets into the swing of things. Connor stays at the bar and takes photos of the pair whilst they're in the pool. Things get awkward as Karl and Jenny head into the bar for a drink. Connor tries to escape before they see but drops his paper whilst rushing away. Karl calls out to him forcing Connor to turn and reveal himself. Karl is shocked to find Connor at the bar and Connor quickly pretends that he's a regular there. He manages to appease them and turns to make his escape a second time but drops his camera in the process. Upon picking it up and seeing some of the images on the camera and a embarrassed Connor is forced to admit he was spying on Jenny.

Boyd becomes more distressed as Janae continues to hint that they should try for a child. Despite Boyd's obvious trepidation whenever the topic is raised Janae continues unaware and her persistence is highlighted by Sasha as she and Boyd spend time studying together. Sash points out that Boyd and Janae don't really appear suited to each other and mentions that she overhead Janae gushing over her plans for children earlier in the General Store.

After his recent spree of selling copied DVD's Kim buys a new car for Janelle. He does this in an attempt to put the pairs recent arguments behind them, but Janelle believes he is agreeing to give having another baby a go. As she mentions this Kim explains to her that this isn't the case and that he still plans for a vasectomy.

Steph arrives home after her latest bout of chemotherapy as she begins to battle her breast cancer as Charlie is now born. There is a small get together of family and friends, during which time Charlie's christening is talk about. Lyn is annoyed to hear that Charlie isn't going to be christened, nor is he going to have god parents (with Max and Steph looking to Susan to perform a similar role without the religious vibe of the task).

The results of Bree's DNA test come back with a result that shocks Karl as he opens the envelope containing the results. The report shows that Kim is not Bree's father.

Toadie and Connor begin to disappear at Angie's meddling with their life. In an attempt to get Angie back home he tries to enlist the help of Janelle, encouraging her to talk to Kev and get him to take Angie back. Janelle dismisses this immediately but changes her mind as she sees Angie break down later. Spending some time talking to her former nemesis, Janelle tells Angie that she'll talk to Kev for her.
