Robert's sabotage of the General Store begins to come into effect as his tampering with the food causes many members of the Erinsborough community to suffer food poisoning after eating chilli con carnie which is the General Store special for the day. This apparent oversight by Elle and Dylan causes Paul to vent against them as the General Store's reputation suffers as news of the problem spreads.

Big Kev arrives in Ramsay Street to talk to Angie about the problems their relationship is currently going through. Connor and Toadie act as delegates for the pair and a compromise is hammered out between them which sees Angie take to the road with Kev in their rig.

Sky spends time Jean-Pierre now that their relationship is more positive and constructive. Whilst at Uni Sky is hit by the food poisoning after eating the chilli at the General Store earlier that day. Jean-Pierre takes her home and spends some time as she gathers her strength. The pair find themselves in a draw off in which they both draw how they're feeling. Sky impresses Jean-Pierre with her work, but is forced to admit to her that his talent has failed him and has been missing for several years. Providing more insight into his background he admits that even his name is adapted with his full name being John Paul Valasco. Sky tries to muster his spirt though and chooses to call him the more fitting "J.P" instead of Jean-Pierre.

Stuart continues to worry about his relationship with Sindi. Ned suggests he move on from Sindi and accept that their relationship has failed. The aggressive and passionate response from Stuart shows that he's not ready to let go. Stuart gets good news, after waiting around the phone ever since leaving a last message on Sindi's answer phone reminding her of their dream to move out to the country and live in a large house together, which sees Sindi accepting that they should try to continue their relationship. This sees Toadie and Stuart plan to head out to Oakey where Sindi will be met. This plan takes a turn when Angie and big Kev insist that the pair get a lift to Oakey in the rig. Toadie is hesitant but Stuart jumps at the chance to ride in the big truck. The four of them leave a while later departing from Ramsay Street with Connor and Ned waving them off.
