Lou worries over the arrival of Mishka, especially after he admits that he has lied on his internet profile which caused Mishka to agree to meet him. He attempts to make himself look younger by spraying his hair brown and wearing a fake moustache but in the end is forced to admit defeat. Harold encourages him to apologise to Mishka who is arriving the following day and offer her a temporary place to stay whilst she explores Australia. He suggests that Lou also arranges to pay for a return ticket to Russia for Mishka as it was his lies that saw her arrive in the country. In the end Mishka doesn't meet them at the airport and the pair mark that as the end of the affair. They're surprised when Mishka calls on them at home a while later. Similar to Lou she has told a few lies on her profile and she is much closer to Lou in age than he had feared.

Janae continues to pursue her new goal of making something of her education. She finds herself struggling to move on from Boyd as he arrives at Erinsborough High to give Janae's class a talk with a few other ex pupils to give a talk on how he has fared since leaving high school. Janae finds herself daydreaming as Boyd is talking. She sees Boyd breaking from his speech at the front of the classroom to move over to Janae and profess his love for her before dropping to one knee and asking for her hand in marriage. Janae soon snaps out of this daydream though and finds Boyd as awkward as ever as she accidentally bumps into him as he leaves the classroom. Unperturbed by this encounter Janae approaches Susan and asks for her to provide extra tuition. Susan is curious as to why Janae is so keen to work at her studies and Janae explains that she wants to make something of herself, and show certain people that she can.

Lyn continues in her mission to get Charlie christened. As Max and Steph have refused she plans to take Charlie in secret to get him baptised whilst Steph and Max leave him in Lyns care for a few hours. Susan is with Lyn as she explains this plan but is unable to dissuade Lyn from acting out this plan. It's left to Janae to get Susan to try to talk Lyn out of the christening. Janae also heads over to the Hoyland's and warns Steph and Max about what's going on. The pair attempt to track Lyn down and finally find her as she returns to the street after leaving the church. Steph turns on Lyn as Susan explains that she talked Lyn out of the christening. Steph is furious with what Lyn has tried to do and makes it clear that Lyn will have no contact with Charlie in the near future thanks to this stunt.

Sky attempts to deal with her feelings for J.P. She talks things over with Harold and finds herself accepting that there is a spark between them but it's nothing romantic. She attempts to explain this to Boyd who is doubtful that there is nothing more to Sky's feelings after he meets J.P. Sky continues her friendship with J.P and meets with him in his studio later in the day to pose for him in an attempt to help him retrieve his lost artistic flair. The pair grow close again but Sky reminds J.P about Dylan. J.P tells Sky that she needs to tell Dylan what’s going on as they edge ever closer to a romantic relationship again.
