Janae attempts to deal with the knowledge that Bree isn’t her sister after having read the letter from the health worker apologising for the mix up years ago at Bree’s birth. Her feelings harden as she confronts her parents with the truth and orders them to tell Bree the truth. Kim and Janelle are very reluctant to do so, feeling that it would be best for everyone if this discovery were never brought to light. An emotional Janae seeks out Boyd for support but finds him unhelpful as he continues to grapple with his own feelings for Janae. Having seen her with Ned Parker after her school formal Boyd acts moodily towards Janae accusing her again of playing games and acting immaturely. After getting nowhere a tearful Janae leaves the Scarlet Bar where she was chatting with Boyd, who realises his mistake too late. He attempts to apologise later but Janae has her feelings back under control and shrugs his offers of friendship off coolly. Her persistence with her parents see them finally sitting down with Bree and Janae to talk about the finds of the DNA test that showed that Bree is not related to the Timmins. Both Janalle and Kim struggle to get the words out and after trying for several minutes Kim explains to an impatient Bree that they are trying to tell her that they’re proud of Bree’s recent success with the Bogan’s tipped hair. Janae is unhappy with this but the agony this news is causing Janelle and Kim is clear on their drawn faces.

Mishka continues to enjoy life in Australia and the relationship between herself and Lou grows stronger. She’s disappointed as Lou tells her, as they visit the General Store, that he didn’t sell the business to retire but it got stolen from him by Paul Robinson. Upon hearing this news Mishka encourages Lou to fight back against Paul. Lou is sceptical at first but begins to sees Mishka’s points about resuming hostilities with Paul as valid.

Sky and Dylan are enjoying improved relations after the recent problems both have had over the past week. They spend the day together in number 24 as Sky attempts to work on a painting for University. Dylan attempts to help her regain her artistic flair but finds himself encouraging her to contact J.P. as it becomes clear that he can provide something that inspires her talent massively. Sky is reluctant but Dylan’s insistence that he is fine with her seeing J.P to help with her work is fine by him sees her making the call.
