Janae finds herself unable to keep the fact that Bree isn’t related to the Timmins, having being mixed up at birth, to herself as she is pestered by Stingray and Bree about the way she has been acting towards her sister. As they press her at the General Store Janae snaps and yells out that Bree isn’t her real sister. The revelation of this news threatens to rip apart the Timmins. Janelle finds herself driven to tears as Bree attempts to come to terms with this turn off events. Stingray finds himself reaching out to Rachel for advice. She suggests that he try to help Bree as much as possible and the Timmins come together as a family to help Bree in any way possible. Finding out that she has another real family sees Bree wondering about what he real parents are like. Kim overhears her describe who she feels her parents will be, well educated and studious having a lot more in common with her than the Timmins do. Janelle, Kim, Janae and Stingray continue to be there for Bree who announces to them that she has a desire to locate her real parents and family.

Karl’s relationship with Jenny is forging ahead. Susan calls on them in an effort to get Karl to help Zeke in his new found passion, Australian football. Karl politely declines spending some time with Zeke and Susan but Jenny suggests he does after Susan has left. The pair then call at number 28 later and Karl produces a football signed by former Ramsay Street resident, and now football star Paul McClain. Karl heads out with Zeke for a kick around in the dark. When back inside, and with Zeke in bed, Karl admits that Zeke posses little talent for the game despite his enthusiasm.
