Stingray Timmins

Stingray finds himself under attack as he stresses about his relationship with Rachel and losing his licence due to drink driving. Whilst he is sitting dejectedly at the dining table in number 26 he finds himself admitting to Bree that things are getting complicated with Rachel as they grow closer. Rachel is facing similar questions but from Susan who takes the opposite stance to Bree, who feels that a possible relationship between Stigray and Rachel is romantic. Susan is furious with Stingray for leading Rachel on and tells Rachel as much reminding her that she is still a child and a minor. Rachel retaliated against Susan’s strong words but Susan puts her foot down about Stingray. Stingray is having more problems as Kim has noticed that Stingray has left Dylan’s car at Grease Monkeys. Stingray pretends that it has run out of petrol and finds himself going to retrieve it with Kim and Janelle. He has to lie when they find out that the car has fuel and Stingray is asked to drive them home. He starts the car slowly and looks for some way out of the situation. Whilst adjusting his mirrors for the nth time he notices a police car coming around the corner behind them and is force to kill the engine and hide his face. Kim and Janelle, who’s suspicions had already been raised by Stingray’s antics and demand to know what’s going on and Stingray has to explain that he has lost his license to drive. When they get back to Ramsay Street Stingray is still arguing about why he got suspended. The argument grows more malicious as Stingray begins to bring his parents concern over Bree into his yelling. Susan watches the scene quiety and gets Stingray to come back with her to number 28. Once inside she questions him about Rachel and his drink driving. Upon hearing of his increased feelings for Rachel and the fact that she was with him when he was picked up for drink driving, Susan demands that Stingray stays away from Rachel in future.

Bree attempts to bury her desire to find her real family after she gets Kim and Janelle to turn around as they attempt to track down her birth parents. Whilst she tells them she is happy to ignore these recent events and explains that she has always been and will always be a Timmins, she later admits to Rachel that one of the driving factors behind this decision is to prevent any problems with her current or her real family. Rachel questions this but Bree tells her she has made up her mind.

Kim finds himself driven back to selling pirated DVD’s as the budget for his remarriage to Janelle comes to around $30,000. Upon seeing this figure, and the stress it causes Janelle who has already got Bree and Stingray to worry about, he makes a quick call to a contact to start his business up again telling them to press ahead despite the increased risks of the operation. Janelle attempts to spice up her wedding, which may be the premise for a sequel to her recently publish novel the Bogan’s tipped hair, but heading to Paul’s and asking him to pass on an initiation to be a bridesmaid at her wedding. Paul is delighted at the news, though Janelle knocks some of the shine off the invite by asking for a discount at Lassiters at the same time, which allows Janelle’s plan to have Izzy and Susan standing side by side as bridesmaids on her wedding day to cause tension and friction.

Lyn finds herself in the firing line again as Steph confronts her mother about the baby belt contract which sees Steph receiving only 5% of the total earnings from the project. Lyn is apologetic at first, though Max finds himself siding with Lyn as she tells them she had no idea bout the content of the contract. A chat with Paul helps Lyn see things in a different light as Paul suggest that Steph is using Lyn as a doormat, berating her for showing too much concern one minute and for showing too little the next. Lyn heads back to number 32 and says as much to Steph, but Steph feels that Paul is behind Lyn’s words and the pair end up fighting again. Another chat with Paul sees him agreeing to up the percentage Steph gets to 7%, which makes Lyn happier. As Lyn is thrown by a compliment from Paul about her hair, which he feels she has done something nice to, Janelle knocks at the door to invite Izzy to be a bridesmaid at her wedding.
