Connor heads out in the Australian countryside in search of Carmella. His leads see him arrive at Saint Clare’s Convent where he finds a rather surprised Carmella who still thinks him lost after the Lassiter plane crash. Carmella is training to become a nun at the convent and she explains to Connor that she is doing so in an attempt to change her life from the person who manipulated Connor and Serena several months ago. Connor is unsympathetic toward Carmella though and sees her actions as an attempt to run away from her problems. Carmella talks through Connor’s accusations calmy though but is unnerved when Connor tells her that he is leaving as he has found her as her mother asked him to do. Carmella wants him to stay so she can talk to him about her actions but Connor walks away from her.

Janae finds herself unable to confront Boyd and tell him that she doesn’t want to get married. She eventually musters up her courage after pacing around outside number 32 for several minutes. Once inside she sits with Boyd and asks him a few questions about how he sees his future. His responses about how he will always put his family first, after seeing how Bobby Hoyland’s lack of interest in either Izzy or Max when they were young caused problems for them, seems to help change Janae’s mind and sees her kissing him and agreeing to their marriage. The pair announce this fact to the customers in the Scarlet Bar and Max, Steph, Janelle and Kim who are also there. Janelle is thrilled with the news and Steph congratulates the pair. Max is horrified by the news, a view which seems to be shared by Kim as they stand behind the bar and look on at Boyd and Janae as they are surrounded by well wishers. Max soon drags Boyd aside for a word and warns him that Boyd’s marriage to Janae is bound to be a disaster. Boyd is defiant but Max continues telling Boyd that these events have “I told you so” written all over them. Janelle enthusiastically suggests that Boyd and Janae have a double wedding with her and Kim and she and Janae find themselves talking about wedding dresses and their big days. Max remains frustrated with Boyd as he visits the doctors with Steph after a health worker alerts them to the fact that Charlie’s head is a little larger than should be expected for a baby of his age. The scare seems to be caused by a faulty tape measure used by the health worker though to Max and Steph’s relief. Max finds himself returning to worrying about Boyd as the pair return to the Scarlet Bar. Steph advises him to be calm about the situation suggesting that Boyd and Janae may even get through the coming weeks and get married. Boyd and Janae’s married sees Janelle promising to reconsider Steph’s position at her wedding after earlier apologising to Steph and telling her that she wasn’t going to be a big part of the wedding as the roles had gone to her two favourite Neighbours, Susan and Izzy.

Stingray and Sky find themselves seeking support as they both wrestle with their relationship woes. Sky is trying to restart dialogue with Dylan but he is refusing to acknowledge her. Stingray finds himself dodging Rachel as she tries to talk to him about being friends again. Stingray and Sky find themselves back at number 24 Ramsay Street and Stingray takes it upon himself to try and cheer Sky up and manages to get her laughing again. They then begin talking about their current problems and agree to stick together. Sky breaks down as she thinks about Dylan and Stingray hugs her close. As they continue to talk about how they will stick together they find themselves kissing each other.
