Robert panics when he finds out that Katya is heading off for a medical conference at ST. Luke’s hospice which is where Cameron is lying in a coma. He finds this out at the last minute and suggests that he drives Katya to the conference as he hears the name. Katya doesn’t suspect anything at this sudden change, thinking it more thoughtful and romantic than a problem. Once on the road Robert gets lost after the pair couldn’t decide on which turning to take. Katya finds out where they made the mistake and tells Robert to turn around. Robert suggests that they forget about the conference and head to a pub alone and spend the night together. Whilst Katya likes this idea she points out that her place at the conference has been paid for and it is in her best interest to attend. A while later when they’re back on the right road Robert takes a gamble and sends their car into a spin causing it to skid off the road and onto the grass verge next to it. He is fine but Katya takes a blow to the head. As she comes around a little groggily Robert asks her if she’s o.k explaining that he swerved to miss a rabit. He suggests they turn back to Erinsborough but Katya still feels the should continue on. Robert persists though and eventually convinces Katya that she should return to Erinsborough so she can be check out at Erinsborough hospital.

Izzy finds herself clashing with Elle again as Elle continues to use Paul’s money rather than pursue an active career. Izzy also spends some time with Robert in number 22. Robert questions her about her feelings for Paul and tapes her gushy response on a small mp3 recorder whilst she’s not looking.

Zeke seeks out Karl as he grows concerned about the physical part of his relationship with Bree. They both are keen to spend their time closer together but Zeke is unsure about how and when to kiss. Karl sits down with him and relives his own first encounters with love. His advice to Zeke is to stop over analysing his feelings and to just kiss without thinking or worrying about what is happening. As Zeke is getting advice from Karl, Bree is at Susan’s getting advice of her own after Melody Jones commented on her questionable current appearance now that she is the face behind The Bogan’s Tipped Hair. The four of them are soon back together as Karl calls at number 28 to return Zeke. Zeke and Bree leave after a while as Bree is keen on attempting to change her image. Karl and Susan chat amiable and Karl tells Susan about his talk with Zeke and they begin laughing at similar discussions they had with both Libby and Billy. Later Karl joins Susan as she heads to the Scarlet bar to get a take away.

Ned finds himself returning to his more natural kinder personality as he is goaded by Paul. At first he offers to look after Oscar for Lyn and later rips up a ticket that he had handed out to Rose Belker as she approaches him in the General Store. At first he told her there was nothing he could do about the ticket but was pressured as Rose pointed out her poor financial situation. Lyn is concerned as Rose explains that she’ll have to cut back to be able to pay off the ticket and Paul scoffs at Ned’s actions. As Rose leaves the General Store Ned calls her back and shred the ticket. He then offers to spend the afternoon with Rose inviting her to join him for coffee and cake as he announces that he’s quitting his job as a traffic warden all of which leaves Paul silent.

Elle finds herself looking after Oscar as Lyn attempts to bring him to client meetings again as he has a bit of a cold and she didn’t want to risk him infecting Steph with a cold he seems to be developing. Paul isn’t keen for Oscar to tag along with Lyn so he invites Elle to watch over Oscar whilst he and Lyn meet clients. Elle is reluctant to do so and Paul offers her $50 an hour and to take her horse riding at the weekend if she does. She still hesitates but the appearance of Izzy spurs her into accepting and allows her to shoot a few remarks about Izzy failing to look after Charlie properly a few weeks ago. Once she is alone with Oscar Elle is a little lost with what to do with him and lets him wander around as she relaxes in the back garden. Ned approaches her and suggests that she keep a closer eye on him but she treats him coolly and goes back to relaxing. Ned’s warnings prove correct later when Elle arrives home in a fluster. Lyn, Paul and Izzy are home and Elle manages to gasp out an apology as she explains that she has lost Oscar. Oscar is then seen kicking a ball close to a pond nearby. He kicks it gradually closer and eventually the ball falls into the pond. Oscar approaches the edge of the pond and begins to go into it to fetch the ball out.
