Cracks begin to show in Izzy and Paul’s relationship despite the pair appearing to be very happy with each other. Paul’s closeness to Lyn when working sees Izzy snapping at Paul as he seems to pay Lyn more attention than her. Izzy tries to explain as much to Paul but he doesn’t listen and she finds herself confiding in Robert. She explains to him that she loves Paul for his strong will and personality but she is finding herself frustrated with the fact that he isn’t spending time with her despite all the signals she is sending him.

Robert begins his latest attack on Izzy. This sees him making use of a USB audio recorder to capture comments made by Izzy and then use a sound program on a laptop to chop and change the recording. He then plays this recording to a handset after phoning his mobile on it creating a voice mail message which appears to be from Izzy. This message contains some of her words about how much she loves Paul which have been spliced with Robert’s name so it sounds like Izzy is sending a desperate message to Robert asking him to spend the night with her. Robert then admits to Elle that he received a message from Izzy last night as he sees Izzy has gone out for the night and hasn’t returned. He acts embarrassed at first but lets Elle listen to the message. He musters more pretend concern when Elle says that they have to tell Paul. Robert points out that it will crush Paul but Elle brushes him aside and calls their father over as he appears as they’re talking. Paul laughs as she tells him about the message but his laughter dies on his face as the message is played back to him and Paul is left with a mixture of shock, puzzlement and amazement on his face.

Sky continues to bury herself in her work as a telemarketer for plastic kitchen apparel. Elle takes a more relaxed role for the job and manages to be more successful at selling items using her unorthodox phone pitch which sees her chatting up people on the line. Sky tries her best to talk politely and consistently to her potential customers but is left with people hanging up on her without listening.

Lou finds himself confronted by his lie that he owns number 24 Ramsay Street after a successful night at the Russian club. Mishka seems unaffected by the large quantities of vodka she and Lou had the previous night but Lou is a bit worse for wear. Harold attempts to correct Mishka when she brings up the fact that she thinks Lou owns the house but Lou cuts him off.
