Paul reacts to hearing the doctored voicemail message on Robert’s phone. He agrees with Elle that the proof is undeniable and appears visibly shaken by the news that Izzy has been attempting to seduce Robert. Izzy is at the Scarlet Bar with Max recovering from a night in local nightclubs. She tells Max that she had an epiphany whilst out clubbing and now knows that she truly loves Paul as all she could think of was curling up with Paul on the sofa at number 22 whilst she was out. As she continues to gush about Paul, Max suggests that she go home and tell Paul her feelings. She does just this but stops short as she notices the terrible look on Paul’s face. As she asks him what’s wrong he sends Elle and Robert away and then coldly tells her to leave. Izzy is desperately confused at this and tries to get him to explain but he simply asks her to leave again telling her to pick up her things and go. Later Izzy is standing near the front door of number 22 still pleading with Paul to explain. He has had enough though and is throwing her closes out of the front door. Izzy still doesn’t get an explanation as to what’s going on and finds herself on the drive outside still nonplussed. Elle and Cameron are with Paul and Elle snips at Izzy as the three Robinsons head back inside leading Izzy standing in a pile of clothes outside. Karl and Susan happen to be standing on the street spend a few minutes marvelling at Izzy still standing on the driveway of number 22 and comment on the predictable scene in front of them. Izzy is forced back to the Scarlet bar where she receives another blow from Max who tells her that she can’t sleep on the couch of number 32 so Izzy finds herself left to live in the back room of the Scarlet Bar. As she puzzles over what has happened she tells Max her beliefs that Elle has set her up and states that she will make Elle pay.

Toadie arrives back in Ramsay Street after his short break in Oakey with Stuart. He finds no-one inside number 30 and gets a bit of a surprise when he opens the door to find Carmella dressed in her nunnery clothes. He rushes to find Connor who brings him up to speed about Carmella and the rest of the happenings in the street, including Katya starting a relationship with Robert Robinson. Toadie seems distracted by this but manages to retain a friendship with Katya as he spends time with her in the General Store.

Karl and Susan attend a local football event with Zeke where they listen to a guest speaker and watch a few games. Karl jokes at the idea of Susan coming given her derogatory comments about football whilst they had been together. When they arrive back in Ramsay Street though Susan has lost her voice from shouting at the referee and is wearing an Adelaide Crows hat and scarf.

Connor is a little unsure about how to behave around Carmella as he feels he should tone things down now that she is looking to become a nun. Toadie advises him to act normally and reminds him that she choose Connor to spend time with whilst she is considering her vows. Carmella seems at home in number 30 though and chats to Katya briefly about their respective jobs as a nurse and nun. Carmella had been working at a local hospice as part of her routine and had spent time with Cameron Robinson who was still lying in a comatose state.

Robert and Elle are left to deal with Paul who announces that it would be best if they returned to Tasmania to live with their mother Gail. They protest to this at first but Paul is adamant as he feels he doesn’t deserve to have them living with him and he will only mess them up as he seems to mess everything else up. Elle decides that they should stay though and support their father, who finally gives in as he is calling them a taxi and admits that he is thankful that they’ll be around. Later Robert and Elle are heading out to buy some wine to go with dinner. Robert suggests that they stay clear of the Scarlet Bar but Elle insists they go there. Robert spends a few minutes talking to Katya as she calls to him on the street. He explains to Katya that Izzy attempting to crack onto him is the reason for his slightly off behaviour. Robert, Elle and Katya all head to the Scarlet Bar were Izzy is behind the bar. She clashes with Elle and Elle grabs Robert’s phone in an attempt to show the confused Izzy exactly why Paul threw her out. Robert attempts to stop Elle from taking the phone but she does. Izzy looks shock as she puts the phone to her ear and hears the doctored message. Elle scoffs as Izzy says coolly that she never left the message. As Elle spins and leaves Izzy’s shocked gaze falls on Robert.
