Zeke continues to pursue Australian football despite lacking the natural physique or a mass of talent. Practice with Karl is improving his skills and he is persuaded to go to a special team event by Susan. He is reluctant at first as he feels it’s more of a father / son occasion but Susan tells him Karl would love to go with him and finds herself agreeing to go along as Zeke asks her to join them. Karl fails to make the meeting though as he is tied up with Jenny as he shares her success at a party gathering at the Scarlet Bar. Susan attempts to fill the void left by the absence of Karl and even joins in at a game of handball which sees everyone in the room attempting to punch the football through a target a few feet away. As Zeke takes his turn he barely hits the target with his first shot. His second shot is worse which leads to jeering from everyone else in the room. At the noise Zeke turns and leaves the room leaving a worried Susan staring after him. A furious Susan finds Karl later at the Scarlet Bar and attacks him before Karl can explain that he was held up at the request of Jenny. Back in number 28 Susan takes a few minutes to listen to her voicemail messages and finds a very apologetic one from Karl which was sent whilst she was out with Zeke and explains that he is held up. The problem is resolved later when Karl calls to attempt to explain to Zeke why he was absent earlier in the day. Zeke tells Karl that it’s fine and agrees to practice with him tomorrow. Susan is left to apologise for getting at Karl earlier and he accepts her apology with good grace.

Connor is still very nervous around Carmella and pulls Toadie up on some of his less decent behaviour around Carmella. Connor admits that this kind of thing may be acceptable in the house of trouser but pleads with Toadie to tone it down as Carmella is still planning to become a nun in a short time. Toadie points out that a normal week is what Carmella wants as her visit to Ramsay Street is an attempt to see if she really wants to return to her old life. Toadie convinces Connor and Carmella to head out to a nightclub and Carmella changes out of her nun habit as they go out. Once at the club though both appear uncomfortable as Carmella’s choice of clothing attracts plenty of attention. They agree to dance and find themselves kissing as they begin to get into the dance. The kiss is broken quickly though and both admit that they felt little from the embrace. They decide to head home and watch a DVD.

Kim grows increasingly concerned with Dylan who continues with the DVD business despite Kim attempting to shut it down. Kim finds himself coming clean about the DVD piracy to Janelle who is furious at the news and orders Kim to square things with Dylan before anyone gets into trouble. Kim finds Dylan at the Scarlet bar locking up. He attempts to stop his son, who appears to be heading out to do some more dealings with the shady characters he brought in to shift the DVD’s, and is surprised when Dylan snaps at him and hauls Kim up by his shirtfront demanding he keep his nose out of Dylan’s affairs

Bree faces the fallout from the boy in the bubble stunt she pulled with Zeke as the media work out she has been lying. The retaliation comes in the form of a report in the news paper about Bree’s con and a phone call from her publicist. Whilst Melody isn’t sacking Bree over the stunt she has requested that Bree help out at local hospitals and nursing home in an attempt to regain her public credibility.
