Izzy takes matters into her own hands as she attempts to prove her innocence to Paul after he threw her out over the manipulated phone message. Whilst server customers in the Scarlet Bar she chats to Toadie and asks about the Ipod his is listening too. Whilst talking about the Ipod Izzy realises that Robert could have used a device like that to record her and then manipulate her words. Inspired by this idea she uses her key to gain access to number 22 secretly and takes Robert’s MP3 player. She has a few frightening minutes as Paul and Robert arrive when she is still inside and she has to dash out of the front door when they’re not looking. Once back at the Scarlet Bar Izzy is frustrated to find the MP3 player missing the audio recordings of her she was expecting to find.
Connor has made his decision to leave Ramsay Street to tour Australia as suggested by Carmella. Toadie acts petulantly towards this plan but later comes around after talking to Katya who suggests his behaviour over the news of Connor leaving is down to the fact that he’ll really miss his friend. With this in mind Toadie attempts to part with Connor in a good friendly way. The day Connor is to leave he first attends Carmella’s final ceremony which sees Carmella join the Nunnery as Sister Mary Catherine. Toadie drives them and Carmella says her pledge at the altar of the church where she was serving. Her next plans are to go out and work in a hospital in the Australian outback. After she has said goodbye to Connor and Toadie, who return to Ramsay Street, she says a final goodbye to her patients at St Luke’s. She comes to Cameron’s bed and recognises who he is having bumped into Robert earlier on that day. She quickly phones Connor who is preparing his yute outside number 30 as he sets out to travel Australia. Having said goodbye to Toadie and as Carmella explains a bit more about Cameron Connor heads over to number 22 to tell them that Cameron has been found. He meets Robert first on the driveway and tells him the news. Robert takes this on board quickly and invites Connor into the house. He then pretends to phone Paul to tell him the news but struggles to maintain calm as Connor announces that he is going to leave. Robert asks him to stay and enforces his words with actions, pulling Connor around as Connor attempts to leave.
Elle and Sky continue as telesales operators for the plastic kitchenware firm they began last week. Elle continues to have fun at work and attempts to prank call Ned. Connor realises it’s her when she picks up the phone. She attempts to coarce Connor into buying some of her products by telling him that she will call round and bore him with their work spiel if he doesn’t buy some containers but she gets a surprise when he accepts as she mentions their plastic containers. Elle also rings Paul and gets him to buy a hundred containers as they need to make a sales quota to keep their jobs. Paul agrees but is a little alarmed when the boxes arrive the next day as he has no room for them and thought his money was more of a donation to help Elle out. The next day Elle encourages Sky, who is drawing caricatures of their telesales co-workers and the people that they phone, in the General Store whilst they wait before heading to work, to take a sickie with her.
After a word from Izzy suggesting that she stays well away from Robert, Katya attempts to confront him about the secrets he seems to be hiding. Whilst talking to him she seems surer that there is something he is withholding. Robert grows increasingly nervous with the conversation though despite Katya telling him that she will stand by him no matter what he tells her. Eventually he snaps and asks her to leave telling her that their relationship is over. Katya attempts to reason with him but this only sees Robert yell at her as he looses control.
Karl and Jenny continue to draw closer. Jenny mentions the suggestion she has put to Karl about them moving into a house in Canberra as that is where she is spending most of her time now she her campaign to move up the political ladder is in full swing. Karl stresses that it is very had for him to think about leaving all the Ramsay Street and Erinsborough offers him but promises to consider the move offering to spend time with her there before finally committing to the final leap.
