Panic is still rife as Kim, Stingray, Dylan and Toadie frantically search number 30 for the ring that was lost during their stag night the previous evening. Angie Rebecci has taken control of the situation and continues to bellow out instructions as they try and shake off their hangovers whilst scrabbling around the pool in the back garden of number 30. As they’re ordered into a line by Angie Kim spots the ring at the bottom of the pool and peers over the pool edge to get a closer look. He is joined by the other guys and they all end up toppling into the pool Kim surfaces with the ring aloft though and they all celebrate whilst splashing there way out of the pool. They’re now ready to head off to the ceremony which is taking place at Lassiters but still have the problem of having a mass of wet suits and can’t turn up to the wedding dripping wet. Janelle and her bridesmaids are sent on ahead whilst the guys swap shirts for dry ones and leave number 30 with their trousers in hand attempting to dry them off. As they see the limo they decide to hang their trousers out of the window to dry them off on the way. This proves to be a good idea as they all arrive at Lassiters clean and dry.

Rachel and Zeke argue over her clothing for the wedding and Zeke accuses her of dressing in a provocative way to make Stingray jealous and berates her over the fact that she planned to invite Garret to the wedding even though he hadn’t been invited. They’re distracted by a police car which turns into the street and pulls up in front of number 26. Steiger is command several other officers as they attempt to locate Kim Timmins. They call Rachel and Zeke over to ask them a few questions. Zeke worries about his inability to lie and Rachel advises him to keep quiet during the questions. Steiger quickly sees Zeke’s problem and questions him with a few piercing questions which sees Zeke crack and tell him that Kim is having a second marriage at the Lassiter complex. Steiger moves back to the police car getting one of his officers to call for backup and they head off to Lassiters. Rachel is disgusted with Zeke and quickly attempts to phone Stingray waving away Zeke’s fears that it may be illegal to do so.

Having started the day of positively, having successfully avoid alcohol and teasing Izzy as she called at number 26 to explain that she couldn’t attend the wedding, Janelle is nervous as things seem to have gone a little astray as she, Angie, Janae and Bree had to take the scenic route to Lassiters to cover the guys who were still getting ready. Janelle doesn’t know of the problems they had with the ring and clothing but is relieved when she pokes her head around the door into the main hall and sees Kim and the others standing at the front of the room. She is a little confused that Kev is nowhere to be seen which annoys Angie too but as things are ready the wedding begins as they emerge from the small backroom they had been standing in. In front of a mass of family and friends Kim starts by saying his self written vows in which he tells Janelle how much he has always loved her and wants to spend the rest of her life. Janelle responds with similar loving words however the pair are distracted with the appearance of Steiger and several police officers. Stingray, Dylan and Toadie shuffle towards the back of the room where they are to try and stall them. Steiger is in no mood for games though and makes to move into the room as Kim tries to get the ceremony sped up. Janelle looks concerned and the vicar manages to quickly state that she pronounces them man and wife as Kim tells Janelle that he loves her and she must understand what he has to do. Dylan and Stingray kick into action and barge into the gathered police officers knocking them aside and giving time for Kim to make a break for a door near the front of the room where he was standing with Janelle. Steiger arrives back in the hall with another officer in time to see this and tries to rally his officers as he gives chase. Angie is standing in his path though and she trips both him and the officer behind him allowing for Kim to make a clean break. Back at number 26 and the family are very distressed as Kim has left the household indefinitely until the police interest in him dies down. Toadie gives him the bad news that Kim faces a massive fine and up to 5 years in prison if the police catch up with him. Janelle is very tearful since her true love for Kim had again been realised in the build up to the wedding. Dylan feels he should attempt to lessen the heat on Kim as it was he who pushed the DVD piracy to such a risky level. Janelle is firm that he remains quiet though as Kim has sacrificed himself to allow for Dylan to go free.

Max and Boyd clash over his engagement to Janae again as Max continues to express his worry about Janae and her family’s constant brushes with the law. Steph tries to calm the situation down but Max is keen to question Boyd’s commitment again. Boyd refuses to discuss his relationship with Max thought informing his father that he will marry Janae no matter what he says. Janae faces problems of her own as Dylan expresses disgust as she makes a move for Boyd’s as they still attempting to put together the events of the day. Despite being told that it’s wise to stay with her family at such a time Janae heads over to number 32 where she and Boyd sit on the sofa wondering about what has happened. Janae admits that she is keen to leave the stresses behind of her family which she plans to do after her marriage to Boyd.
