Stingray finds himself defending Rachel’s honour after Garrett spreads malicious rumours around Erinsborough High about his date with Rachel. After Rachel breaks down in front him of explaining how Garrett had said they had “gone to third base” Stingray heads to the school and corners Garrett. Garrett makes a quip about Stingray not being able to find girls his own age and Stingray snaps and punches Garrett in the face. He is stopped from anything more as Susan arrives behind him and orders him away from the scene. Stingray is directed into Susan where she again points out that his friendship with Rachel is not ideal and warns him against seeing her anymore. Garrett seems remorseful for his actions after his interaction with Stingray but Rachel tells him to never speak to him again. Stingray believes that Rachel will not want anything to do with him after his alteration with Garret so is surprised when she calls at number 26 later and thanks him for standing up for her. The pair kiss in the living room of an empty house as they enjoy each others company.

After her chat with Mishka yesterday Sky attempts to get things back on track with Dylan. This sees her hiring out a sporty car for the day and gives Dylan the opportunity to drive it. He hesitates but he finds himself unable to resist the pull of the car. They park later at the local lake and share a moment as the revel in the fun of driving the car. Dylan begins to realise the direction the day is going though and pulls back sharply. He reminds Sky why they broke up, she cheated on him with J.P, and underlines the fact that he has not forgiven her nor will he do so easily. He leaves Sky in and the car as he makes his way back to Ramsay Street by foot. Sky’s day gets more confusing as Mishka listens to her worrying about Dylan. When the topic of Sky’s recent bout of what she things is flu is brought up Mishka offers an alternative explanation. Pointing out that she was a midwife in Russia Mishka suggest that Sky’s symptoms point to the fact that she may be pregnant.

Lyn finds herself meddling over Susan’s relationship with Karl, much to the horror of Susan. Having talked about Susan’s possible feelings for her ex husband Lyn takes things a step further and attempts to press Karl about his relationship with Jenny and almost reveals the fact that Susan is thinking about some sort of reunion between the pair. As Lyn hovers around the issue whilst talking to Karl in the General Store, Susan comes in behind her and stops her from spilling the beans.

Still unaware that the stuff he believes is cleaning fluid is very strong vodka, Harold expresses concern about Mishka and her appearing dependence on alcohol. He does this mostly as he spots Mishka drinking a bottle of the vodka and quietly tells Lou that he believes Mishka is drinking cleaning fluid to feed an addition. Lou plays along with Harold to keep a cover on he and Mishka’s brewing but he is forced to come clean when Harold comes into the kitchen whilst they are both about to drink a bottle of the vodka. Harold despairs that they have been brewing illegal alcohol on the General Store premises and gets a shock when Harold snaps and explains that this is the last straw. He then issues both Lou and Mishka with an ultimatum that they have to be out of the house by the time he returns from the Salvation Army trip he is just about to go on. Lou tries to atone for his wrongdoing by pouring the vodka down the sink when he returns to number 24. Mishka seems less willing to part with the drink though and stashes the remaining bottles in a cupboard under the sink.
