Rachel and Stingray find themselves drawn to each other now that they have decided to have a relationship. They’re still nervous about the rest of the street’s opinions though and attempt to keep their relationship quiet. With the Kinki’s at the hospital with Zeke and the Timmins out celebrating their court victory the pair find themselves alone in number 26. They’re soon interrupted by Janelle though as they look to kiss each other. Janelle is more forgiving than they would’ve expected as they both blurt out that their relationship is serious. Janelle lays down a few ground rules between the both of them if they wish to carry on being involved and emphasises the point that they can kiss but not take their relationship any further.

Steph’s baby belt makes its first debut in a special event organised by Paul in the local park. This sees a host of young parents turn up with there children to try out the belt. Paul attempts to explain the processes that lead up to the belt being on the market but his long winded speech is quickly disrupted as Oodles and Noodles make their planned appearance.

Karl finds himself on the receiving end of Zeke’s anger as Bree suggests that Karl is only interested in getting close to Susan. Zeke quickly confronts Karl about this accusing him of using their friendship. Karl later attempts to make peace and explains to Zeke that he was good friends with his father and would not try to replace him. He also tells Zeke that he cares about him and values the friendship that has been formed between them both.

Janelle gets a shock as a writ is served upon her by the DVD distribution company who are requesting $200,000 for breech of copyright. This financial burden sees the Timmins forced to reconsider their planned move out of number 26 into a house of their own. Lyn provides support for Janelle and tells her that the Timmins are welcome to stay in number 26 for as long as they like.

Ned gets a lot of attention from Janine an old client of Steph’s when she was working at the garage. Steph introduces her to Ned after the Oodles and Noodle performance where she bumped into Janine who was attending the baby belt launch event with her young niece and expressed a desire to get to know Ned better. Janine attempts to alert Ned to the fact that she is very interested in him but Ned doesn’t pick up on her frequent and simple gestures. Steph finds herself uneasy as the three of them head back to number 30 and she is invited to join them by the pool. After having operations to treat her cancer Steph is wary of her body and declines the invitation to join them as the lounge around the pool in swimsuits.

Bree finds herself looking for her real family again. Having made the trip to 998 Seastrand Street she finds the house she’s looking for burnt to the ground. As she stares in shock at the remains a Neighbour approaches her and tells her that the family have moved away. The Neighbour goes on to say that she won’t really miss the family, especially the young girl.
