Harold returns home after his short week long trip with the Salvation Army. He is furious when he finds both Lou and Mishka still inside number 24 still attempting to sell the illegal alcohol they have been brewing. He confronts them about this as they try to tell him how events had waylaid their eviction. He eventually listens and Sky tells him about her pregnancy which only ignites his rage further and he attacks Sky for her foolishness and mocks her statements about regretting her actions telling her that she is only saying so as she has to live with the consequences. Lou’s attempts to intervene are brushed away by Harold who leaves Sky stunned by his harsh words. Later Harold calms down as he emerges from his bedroom quietly to find Lou and Mishka attempting to reassure Sky’s shattered confidence. Harold watches them for a few moments before moving closer. He apologies to all of them for his outburst and spends time talking to Sky about her pregnancy. Latest Sky tells Harold, Lou and Mishka that after postponing the abortion last week and having thought lots on the situation she is now deciding to keep the child.

Karl and Susan kiss passionately after her surprise appearance at his flat as he was saying goodbye to Jenny. The pair later find themselves tucked up in bed. Karl tends to Susan’s feet which are cut as she rushed around to his house in her pyjama’s and without any shoes on. They agree to keep their relationship quiet until they get used to it themselves and Susan is left to sneak home in a pair of Karl’s old trainers. She gets a shock when she finds Rachel up and at the dining table in number 28. Rachel is also sneaking around and has returned home after attempting to spend time alone with Stingray but was forced to retreat as Lyn and Dylan found themselves up at the same time. Both Susan and Rachel are sketchy about what they’re doing up at that hour and both tell small lies as to why they are. This continues the following morning as Susan attempts to hide the evidence of her late night wanderings which are the pair of Karl’s trainers which she hides outside. Rachel has a similar quest as she fetches a shoe left behind at number 26. As they bump into each other again they’re both left trying to think up more excuses on the spot and they both breath a sigh of relief when the pleasantries are over and they go their separate directions.

Stingray finds himself in between Sky and Dylan as he listens to his brothers thoughts on the situation and hers the news that Sky didn’t have an abortion after all. This fact frustrates Dylan especially as Sky only told him this after he took the initiative and went to see her moments earlier. Stingray finds himself offering support to Sky as a friend and also asks the difficult question which he has been wondering over for a while. He asks Sky directly whether there is a possibility he is the father. She tells him clearly that there is no chance as the dates are wrong for that to be the case.
