Harold, Lou and Mishka celebrate with the news that Sky plans to keep her baby after coming close to having an abortion thanks to fears that she was in no state to become a mother. As the celebrations die down Harold pulls Sky to one side and repeats his suggestion that she should try and involved Dylan in both her and the baby’s life. Sky is doubtful of Dylan’s interest and is shocked later when she finds out that he is involved with Elle. This fact is revealed as Elle calls at number 24 for a chat to Sky. Elle explains her opinion on the situation mentioning causally about her relationship with Dylan which catches Sky off guard. Sky covers her feelings well and tells her friend that she is fine with the development. She listens to Elle as Elle advises her to think very carefully about her decision to keep her child, reminding Sky that she is young and should think twice before committing to something so big.

Summer returns to Ramsay Street for a brief visit as the news of Boyd and Janae’s marriage reaches her. She is as excited as Janae is with these recent developments and is a little surprised to hear of the lack of enthusiasm expressed by Max and Janelle. She is keen to help out though and agrees to keep the latest plans of Boyd and Janae to have a small ceremony at the local town hall. This would cut out the family and friends who have shown such poor support of the couple and allow them to tie the knot rapidly and firmly. Given that Janae is under 18 she has to root around number 26 to look for her fake birth certificate (which she used to get into clubs) to use during the ceremony so they can get married.

Dylan fumes at Sky when the see each other again and the news that Sky is planning to keep the baby spreads. Whilst Sky is still determined to go ahead with the pregnancy Dylan is angry at the little say he had in the situation. As Sky tells Dylan that he can be as involved in the baby’s life as he wants to he angrily tells her that Sky has made this decision knowing full well that he felt he was not ready to be a father. Dylan also picks apart Sky’s belief that she is being open minded and fair when it comes to Dylan and the baby, pointing out that she has already made the most important decision in keeping the baby and she only thought of herself as she was doing so.

Bree tells Summer of the recent news that she is not related to the Timmins. Summer is shocked at this, but Bree attempts to play it down. She goes on to explain that she feels lost without knowing where she comes from and so plans to change her image. She does so by gluing on a blonde haired wig which she wears the next day as she, Boyd, Janae, Summer sneak off in the early morning so Boyd and Janae can get married. As they’re waiting for their turn Summer finds herself attempting to contact Max and Steph, despite Boyd’s express warning about doing so, as she feels they should be there for the wedding.
