Robert plans his trap for Paul and heads out to the bush to an abandoned mine where he leaves a few things. He has already invited Paul out for a father son weekend under the pretence of attempting to patch up their differences and it seems he will lure Paul to the mine during this time. Katya still feels that a mistake has been made somehow over the Robinson son who has been imprisoned. Toadie thinks otherwise and finds himself refusing to represent Cameron any further as Cameron continues to deny any wrongdoing, blaming Robert instead who he claims has set him up. Cameron faces a further set back as it’s announced that Robert’s hide away which he used to create the bombs he has used ruthlessly over the past few weeks has been found. Whilst this is news to Cameron, Robert has left several pieces of “evidence” which he covered in Cameron’s prints whilst his brother was still lying in a coma in St. Luke’s. Cameron continues his desperate attempts to tell everyone the truth and he gets a shock as Robert visits him with Gail later. Gail attempts to reason with Cameron but he is furious at Robert and tries to get an answer from him as to what is going on and Robert and Gail hastily retreat. This leaves Robert and Paul to go on there way. Robert’s plans are threatened slightly as they stop briefly at the Scarlet Bar for some alcohol. As they turn to leave Robert crashes into Katya by accident. He offers her his hand to help her back up and as she does she has a flash back to the cliff edge where Robert helped her to safety after pushing her over. She realises that Robert is responsible for the recent terror in Ramsay Street but he and Paul leave before she can collect her thoughts. She pleads with Toadie to listen to her as she points out her certainty about Robert.

Boyd and Janae get up early and head to the local town hall with Bree and Summer to get married. There is a rushed feeling once they get there with various couples milling around and impatience in the air. Summer continues her attempt to get Max, Steph and Janelle to the wedding and so plays for time to give them a chance to arrive. Boyd and Janae exchange vows and rings without a problem though with the parents arriving just as their ceremony draws to a close. Steph and Janelle receive this rapid change well embracing both Boyd and Janae. Max is less happy though and leaves whilst Steph and Janelle exchange friendly words with the newly weds. Max’s alienation continues as he turns up at the small gathering of family and friends at number 30 pointing out the marriage shouldn’t have gone ahead as Janae is not 16. Boyd squares up against Max defiantly and challenges his father to attempt to get the marriage overturned stating that both he and Janae are happy with the marriage if it was obtained via a fake birth certificate. Steph is forced to step in and orders Max back home before relations between the two Hoyland men breaks down any further. A short time later and Boyd and Janae are out on the street leaving for their honeymoon, funded by a generous gift of money by Steph earlier, in Izzy’s car. They’re waved off by Steph, Izzy and Janelle.

With the discovery of Toadie’s underhand scheme to extort money from Janae and Boyd discovered, after Janae went through the pockets of a pair of trousers he left lying around, Toadie is forced to support the pair after they threaten to tell everyone about how he played with them. This also sees him have to buy a case of top of the range champagne during the wedding celebrations at number 30.

Izzy continues to feel inadequate as the strength of Paul’s relationship with Gail continues to be displayed around number 22. This sees her arguing with Paul as he leaves to go on the trip with Robert. After considering leaving Izzy after their row, Paul thinks twice and tracks her down and tells her how much he loves her and that he isn’t interested in Gail anymore.
