Teresa continues to involve herself in Sky’s life using her closeness to Sky to push others away and coarse Sky into believing her lies to be truth. Having withdrawn as Stingray arrived at the hospital with Toadie she rejoins Sky the following day as Stingray misses Sky’s first anti natal class. Teresa offers to join Sky for the class telling Sky that it will be fun and that she can offer advice during the class. She takes things a step further by suggesting to Sky that the reason Stingray missed the class was due to him struggling to accept having to take care of Sky and her baby. As Stingray stops by the hospital to apologise later Teresa tells him that Sky is out for a walk. Under the guise of confiding a secret she then suggests to Stingray that it would be best if he kept his distance as Sky is unhappy with the fact that he is the father of the baby and that she feels bitter that it’s not Dylan’s. Sky gets a hint of the problems that Teresa appears to be going through as Teresa snaps at her for not taking that anti natal classes serious. She warns Sky that it would be no joke if she miscarried the baby due to neglect of the classes. Teresa also refers to the child as “our baby” as she attempts to smooth things over after her outburst.
The battle for Ned begins as Carmella realises that Katya has played dirty and attempts to follow suit. Ned finds out that Katya has hidden Carmella’s letter. After reading the content and hearing Katya admit that she concealed it from him he orders her out of number 30. He does not break up with Katya though and finds himself caught between the two girls as he heads out into the street a while later. He is watched by both Katya and Carmella from the windows of number 28 and 24. He continues to hesitate making several steps to both houses. Carmella is joined at the window by Loris and Harold whilst Katya is joined by Karl and Susan. Despite criticism by both Harold and Karl about snooping on Ned, they both end up crying at their respective windows encouraging Ned towards them. All watching let out cries of disgust as Ned takes the easy option and heads back to number 30. Carmella lays her cards on the table the next day and lures Ned back to number 24 with the help of Loris. As Ned enters the house he sees candles dotted around the kitchen and Carmella surprises him by emerging dressed in a nurse outfit in an attempt to indulge his apparent like of playing “dress up”. His response is lukewarm though and their conversation soon turns into a angry argument. Carmella accuses Ned of only wanting to date her whilst she was part of the convent. Ned retaliates as Carmella mutters that Katya has won, suggesting that Carmella is only expressing an interest in him to get at Katya.
After questioning a large mini bar bill, which Stingray explains was for alcohol that he pour down the toilet to take temptation away from him, Loris attempts to help Stingray with his dependence on alcohol. She drives him to a alcoholics anonymous meeting pointing out that he needs to admit he has a problem and deal with it for himself and for Sky and their baby. Stingray encourages her to allow him to attend the meeting alone so he can be truthful about the extent of his problem. Loris agrees to this and Stingray heads toward the meeting business whilst Loris drives away. He quickly stops once she is out of sight.
Toadie finds himself left holding the baby whilst Steph and Boyd are out. He finds Charlie a handful and is left praying for a miracle as Charlie cries and throws up all food he eats. A call to number 28 brings in reinforcement and Susan and Karl soon have Charlie quiet. They suggest that Toadie carry Charlie around the block on a baby carrier pointing out that, when carrying a baby strapped to your chest, the motion of walking and the beating of a heart sooths a baby to sleep. Toadie follows their advice and soon warms to taking care of Charlie.
