Sky gets several visitors in hospital as she receives the news that it is likely that she will be able to return home now her condition has stabilised. Susan and Zeke stop by to check up on her and share the latest gossip. Sky is delighted to hear about the return of Mishka and laughs at the fact that Lou has had is hands full trying to juggle them both. Susan and Zeke leave as Carmella enters the room as part of her role as helper at the hospital. Zeke tells Carmella to back off from Ned and, after they leave, Sky points out that they both seem to be backing Katya in the Katya/Ned/Carmella love triangle. Carmella tells Sky that she has given up on Ned and mentions that she is going on a date with one of the new number 30 housemates. Carmella stops as she sees Teresa Cammeniti on the board in the bed next to Sky's. Sky explains how Teresa is her roommate and that they are good friends. Carmella tells Sky that Teresa is her cousin and she quickly leaves the room with a worried expression on her face.
Having been put in detention by Pepper Steiger for cheating in cross country, Rachel and Bree look to get revenge on their new PE teacher. They turn to Janae for help who delights in reminiscing about the stunts she pulled on her teachers back in Colac. Rachel and Bree settle on something a little tamer than Janae's examples and the next day Pepper is treated to a jumper full of itching powder. She attempts to soldier on despite scratching frantically as the powder kicks in. Eventually she runs out of the classroom sneezing and scratching and letting Susan take over her class.
The mysterious series of events at number 30 are explained as Frazer tells Pepper about what has happened. She returns to number 30 and reveals that "Little Frankie has been shot" refers to a horse which had to be put down. The question about the spanner and the aparent attack on Frazer whilst he was in the back garden of number 30 remains though. It is solved with a surprise visit from Peppers mother, Christine Rodd. As she is told about the attack and shown the spanner she tells them that it is from the garage. She then calls at number 32 with Pepper. After questioning Janae admits that she is responsible for the spanner. She explains how she was in the back garden of number 32 practicing her mechanic skills on an old engine. She grew frustrated with the spanner as she slipped and broke a nail and threw it behind her. It sailed over the fence separating number 30 and 32 and hit Frazer whilst he was sitting in front of his laptop. She explains that she hadn?t realised that Frazer had been hit and had planned to save embarrassment by retrieving the spanner quietly once it was dark.
Despite her nervous start at teaching Pepper assures Susan that she is fit to return to her class. She finds further embarrassment after the pair of her pants Zeke stole whilst cleaning number 30 turn up at school. Susan is the one to pick them up and asks Pepper if they are hers when they bump into each other. Rather than backing down over the incident Pepper pulls Zeke aside and demands an explanation. He drops his "cool" act as she tells him she thought he was quite sweet when she first met him and was disappointed to see him pull such a stunt. He apologises and Pepper strikes a deal with him rather than take things to Susan. Zeke agrees that he will never do such a thing again and will clean number 30 for free for a month.
Will and Carmella's date is low cost but the pair get along really well. Will takes Carmella to see a show first, which they see for free thanks to Will knowing some ex colleagues who let them sit in the wings and watch the performance. Afterwards they walk through the park and Will disappears for a few moments and emerges with a hamper and blanket. The pair sit gazing at the stares for the rest of the evening. As the date draws to a close they come close to kissing. Carmella pulls back at the last moment, explaining to Will that breaking her vows would mean she was really turning her back on the convent and she doesn't feel ready to make that decision yet. The next day Frazer pesters Will for "all the sordid details" of the date. Will seems happy with how things went but he seems hesitant to explain too much in front of Rosetta. Rosetta seems equally unsure about hearing too much about the date despite having suggested it in the first place.
Will makes use of the "Yours for the taking!? keys that were handed to him which open an apartment in Eden Hills. Inside he packs a few items that seem familiar to him (a tin of Nestle condensed milk, a teddy bear and a ring) and leaves.
Teresa?s lies are exposed as she attempts to keep Sky with her in the hospital after hearing the news that Sky may be returning home. As Teresa spots Carmella in the corridor outside their room she quietly tells her that she doesn?t believe Sky is well enough to go home, explaining that Sky has been having stomach cramps and dizzy spells but has kept this from the doctors and nurses as she is keen to get home. Carmella agrees to have a word with Sky?s doctor about this however she mentions it in passing when talking to Sky later on. Sky is puzzled when Carmella mentions these problems and Carmella is taken aback when Sky that Teresa may also be well enough to return home to her husband and baby. Carmella explains that Teresa doesn?t have a husband or a baby.
